Hi Marisa,I haven’t heard of any of your series. I looked them up and I pick the Cold Creek series, sounds like a different setting than most cozies. I hope you enjoy them!

Hi Danielle,
I don't know any of your series, so I'm picking the Magical Bookshop for you. Enjoy.

Hi Helen
I haven't ready any of your picks so it wasn't easy...
I did some quick research and Sister Joan series look interesting. I read a few of Brother Cadfael or Father Brown series but never heard of the one with nuns.
Hope you enjoy!
Joni wrote: "Joni picks for JessJess I had a tough time choosing between the Maisie Dobbs series and the Flavia deLuce series as I enjoy both so much. However, since Maisie is new to you I chose it. (I listen..."
Thanks Joni, looking forward to starting a new series. I was meaning to start this series and it's finally happening!

Thank you Jess. I discovered those a while ago, and am looking forward to reading them. I have read several series with nuns, both contemporary and historical!
Hi Kristie,I pick the Cookie Shop Series by Virginia Lowell for you to read.
Hope you enjoy them. Happy reading.

I finished my first November book Sidney Chambers and the Shadow of Death. Don't know why I waited so long to start this serie, it is fabulous! I think I found a new favourite serie :DCan't wait to start the next book.
Finished my first book, Bubbles Unbound last night. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to book 2.
I also finished my first book Maisie Dobbs. This series had been sitting on my to read list for a while and I’m glad I finally started. It was a well written book though I found the mystery part not that strong. It was rather Maisie’s life that was more interesting. I’ll start the second one soon. Hope I get hooked and stay with this series.

I always enjoy getting more of her back story in each book.
Linda wrote: "Jess wrote: "I also finished my first book Maisie Dobbs. This series had been sitting on my to read list for a while and I’m glad I finally started. It was a well written book though ..."Yes, I found especially in this first book, Maisie's life and mysteries around her past were a lot more interesting and fascinating. And I do like her, an unusual (so far for me, a relatively new cozy reader) female sleuth who is calm and intelligent, not get fooled around until the very last moment like so many others (though this is also fun in its own way). I got good feeling with this series.
Anna Catharina wrote: "I finished my first November book Sidney Chambers and the Shadow of Death. Don't know why I waited so long to start this serie, it is fabulous! I think I found a new favourite serie..."Oh boy, glad to hear it! I've put off reading this series too long. The TV series was just wonderful! Thank you for bringing it to mind again.
Anna Catharina wrote: "I finished my first November book Sidney Chambers and the Shadow of Death. Don't know why I waited so long to start this serie, it is fabulous! I think I found a new favourite serie..."I have been really curious about that series. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it!
I finished listening to my first book for this month,
, Who Let the Dog Out? by David Rosenfelt. Never can go wrong with an Andy Carpenter book. Starting the second book, Outfoxed shortly.
Finished my first book for the month yesterday, while on a weekend camping trip, far away from wifi or even mobile internet.
Some days ago I finished my second November book: Sidney Chambers and the Perils of the NightWhat a great serie! I liked book 1 a little bit more, but they were both excellent.

Jennifer wrote: "FInished my two for the month last night:

Finished my second book of the series, yay!So far, I enjoyed reading Maisie Dobbs, though sometimes I'm not sure about reading the emotion by mimicking posture...
I like the calm mood of the series and the more reserved yet intelligent MC. The mystery became more traditional puzzle - ish in the second book, which was more fun and enjoyable for me.
The ending of both books were great as well, showing the hope regardless of the melancholy vibe especially coming from the tragedies of the Great War.
I think I'll come back to this series after reading some others.
I've had this series on my wish list for awhile now and promised myself that I would read them before too much more time has passed. I'm hoping, anyway!
Finished my second book - Bubbles In Trouble over the weekend. I really enjoyed these books, Bubbles is a lot of fun. Taking a break in December (too many Christmas books to read), so I'll see you all in January!

Then there is the holiday reading challenge...
The holidays will be pretty gloomy this year as we lost 3 family members, my brother, mother, and my mom and sister's service dog. The new puppy has helped with the latter, he is great fun. Nothing will help with the other two. See everyone back for the January serial read.
If I am lucky I will get the first of my two books of this month done this evening. Been a rough month.
I was able to finish both picks, just in time! Thanks, Jeanne.
