Bringing forwardOld bird gathers things together. (singer/songwriter)
Although Wiki, fount of all knowledge, says songwriter, this person is much better known just as a singer.
'Dolly Parton'another 'half-possible/half-meh' offering... just for the want of anything better :~/

Yep nc, I've just checked on Zon and I see there is such a band :)So I'll edit my post and take off the ?
nc, a small coincidence - you remember Hitler’s Elk on Cryptograms? Well, Talk Classical are running a composers anagrams thread and someone’s come up with Elk Sends A Nazi Jam!
Very pleasing, Lez. It would seem that Hitler's Elk is a thing after all.I'm amazed at your memory for detail; I had forgotten that Cryptograms ever existed, never mind any of the clues! However, I'm happy to be reminded about Hitler's Elk. I even managed to remember the answer (or re-solve it), but had to cheat to get the composer.
I'll be back soon with a new code.
