I was working on the theory it must be Del somebody (anagram of king goes?), but your second code seems to have blown that out of the water.

nocheese wrote: "Bing the search engine featured in Round Britain Quiz yesterday afternoon, and I did try to fit it in, But I was too fixated on Del."Ah! Round Britain Quiz is on again? I'll have to try to remember to listen on the iPlayer. I haven't heard it for years. I did manage to hear most of the last series of Counterpoint once I'd worked out roughly when new episodes were appearing.
Gordon, the R4 quizzes - RBQ, Counterpoint, Brain of Britain and the student/lecturers one, The Third Degree are all on at 3.00pm on Mondays and repeated 11.00pm Saturdays. As I never think of ‘Del’ being short for Derek, I was way behind on the code!
Lez wrote: "Gordon, the R4 quizzes - RBQ, Counterpoint, Brain of Britain and the student/lecturers one, The Third Degree are all on at 3.00pm on Mondays and repeated 11.00pm Saturdays."Thanks Lez. I've never heard of The Third Degree. I did eventually cotton on that Counterpoint was on at 11 pm on Saturday. However, I would often miss it when it was broadcast so I got into the habit of listening to it on the iPlayer on Sunday evening. 3 pm on a weekday is impossible, of course.

Nice one, and well done Gordon. I knew that 'cure' must be a clue, but couldn't figure it out. D'oh!
