(fact: we were first team to be knocked out s.cup on penalties. two seasons later the first to be knocked out twice on penalties (both to lower league opposition, i might add!)

Calmed down since Wednesdays game. It was all going so well, a nice chilled Golden Glory, meat Rogan Josh with special rice, and Spurs 2.0 up at half-time. In a state of near bliss I remembered how Spurs finished last season, 12 wins in their last 13 games. In my mind Spurs for now were peaking at the right time, with plenty of games left. Back to the game however, and it didn't take too long for the Hammers to smash my dream up. 3 goals in 15 minutes I think, and Spurs and their fans were shell shocked! It's ok you lie to yourself, just a stupid meaningless cup, but you really know it isn't.

The irony about all this goes back to last season's final 13 games, no prizes for guessing which team were the only ones to beat us? West Ham, I hate 'em! And you can't spell irony without spelling iron, grrr!
