I'm completely with you, Jackie! I am sooooo excited to find out the (hopefully) final results that it seems like a week since I voted. I love this process, but the minutes are creeping by until we get to the 7th.

For me, I think it's just because I know it is probably the last poll & that means that once we get the results, the official challenge will be coming soon. I can't wait to see the order the prompts will be in for next year, and really get serious about what books I'm going to read for each one.

Of course, my choices may change a little (or a lot) depending on what's going on when I get to each week, and also what the prompts are for the Popsugar challenge, which I hope to participate in this year, as well. It's just a wait & see game right now, and I'm ready for some actual info right in front of my eyes. :)

We've received about the number of votes that I tend to expect for a poll. Right now, it's looking like it will likely be a top 2 and not a top 3.

I know that's not what everyone was looking forward to. My suggestion would be for me to pull the top 10 close call topics and do an in-group poll asking people to vote for the final entry.

If we don't have a clear top 3, I would definitely be in favor of a mod-chosen list for the final poll.

Nadine in NY Jones | 2286 comments I think we're all out of fresh ideas. I'd be happy with a vote on all previous close-calls. We can all pick four favorites, with one winner.

I think that would be perfectly fine. As much as I love this process, I think we're all about ready to just finish it up and get a completed list. I think the top 10 close call poll would be the quickest way to get to that point, so I'm in favor of that.

Rachel A. (abyssallibrarian) | 3282 comments I think that's a great idea, Laura! There were so many great close call topics, so it would be nice to just pick from them.

Anastasia (anastasiaharris) | 1731 comments There were some great ideas that never made it. It would v be nice to give b the best ones another chance.
I am also burnt out by making the list. It has been a long process this year.
It will be nice to see the finished list and take a break before the next challenge begins.

Peter | -28 comments I agree with everyone else, I think a final choice from the top 10 close calls sounds like a great way to end off the voting process!
