We should start thinking earlier what we want to read for next month. I am looking for a wide spread of genres. YA, Historical Fiction, Poetry, Non-fiction, horror/thriller, drama, etc.

SO, I am throwing out a YA. The Selection (The Selection, #1) by Kiera Cass

message 2: by Katie (new)

Katie (cupikate) I just finished that

message 3: by Katie (new)

Katie (cupikate) I’d like to suggest the vicar of Wakefield or nutshell

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

message 5: by Katie (new)

Katie (cupikate) Noooooo lol yes and I have to admit I wasn’t impressed

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Le sigh. That's why I didn't want to read it alone!

message 7: by Katie (new)

Katie (cupikate) Eh we can still read it

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

message 16: by Katie (new)

Madame de Villeneuve's The Story of the Beauty and the Beast The Original Classic French Fairytale by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve

I guess this is the original story

message 29: by Giki (new)

Giki | 64 comments that's as good a reason as any to read a book....

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol it is. WW2 is always a good topic. I will have to research the trailer.

ReadingAllOverThePlace I'm in readers limbo and have been for almost a month. I want to read something great, to rev me back up.....please

message 32: by Katie (new)

Katie (cupikate) I think most of us are there Terri, if I could be so bold as to speak for the group. It has been hard for me personally to multitask my work load/reading. I’ve decided to pick up a few small middle grade and ya books to help me have some small accomplishments though out my bigger reads. Maybe for November we could pick one book in the group and focus on it? Might make things a bit easier

message 33: by Giki (new)

Giki | 64 comments yes - one book november - there is so much going on - we just have to pick the right book!

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

That is fine with me. November and December are just busy months for most people, and I am slowly getting out of my slump.

message 35: by Giki (new)

Giki | 64 comments glad you are back Alex!

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks Giki. That slump was horrible. Watched a lot of tv. Haha

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

I think we should read something light and easy. A YA?

message 38: by Giki (new)

Giki | 64 comments tv! how awful for you...... ;-)

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Giki wrote: "tv! how awful for you...... ;-)"
