it was a chaos ..I feel so bad because of Gary all of them died.I was so touched to read about their body laying around in the house and Victor had a tragic death.I cant believe she lived there for four years by training her children in the same house where all this happened.

yea hearing from you it seems a bit unrealistic that through all this only malorie survived.
i didn't feel it when i read it maybe becz of the fact that she didn't open eyes till the end.Also don't know how this monster thing work as it doesn't attack anyone up so close and only make them go mad when their eyes are open.

I was so sad about that description. (view spoiler)[ I feel that Don betrayed them by letting Gary stay hidden and it was all Don's fault not Gary's! But Gary would've found a way to let the creatures in if he was outside. It was creepy how he was outside all that time and even watching them and didn't kill himself. He did go mad but he didn't kill himself, he had to make the other people see and then they would kill themselves. I was so sad for Olympia, but I was glad that she was strong enough to give Malorie her baby. (hide spoiler)]

25% (view spoiler)[ So far I like this book. I liked that we got short stories of the horrific events happening around the world and then the one in alaska hits home with Shannon. I like that Shannon is the sane one and is trying to keep Malorie safe, even if Malorie is skeptic about all the incidents. I was so sad that Shannon had to die, she kills herself with scissors? she was the sane one, she was the one that was supposed to be by Malorie's side. (hide spoiler)]

50% (view spoiler)[ The part where Tom finds the boy in the house is so sad. Then Jules finds the parents. It's so overwhelming to think of all those deaths. The whole time Tom and Jules were out I was scared for them but I liked how the author let us know first that they made it back to the house safe and sound and then told us the story of how their trip went and what they saw. I like the birds. I like that Tom is so smart and he finds the birds in a box to help warn them when danger is near. (hide spoiler)]

75% (view spoiler)[ Those children are amazing!!! I like that she has trained them so well and they hear way beyond what she could've hoped. They are so helpful to her and guide her so well. Back at the house I am happy that Tom and Jules are back and brought so many supplies and food. I just wish that Malorie would've said something as soon as Tom and Jules got back about her suspicions on Gary being the guy that took the drapes down on the house he was before, therefore having his housemates and brother kill themselves. Finished... (view spoiler)[ I wanted to cry towards the last chapter! I was so happy for Malorie, I felt like she would never arrive where she was going. I felt she was going to be taken by the creatures. I liked that it was Tom's voice Rick used to guide Malorie and that her babies finally have names, it was sweet that she named Olympia after her mom and Tom after Tom her friend. would love to read the sequel too.
