You know the series buddy reads, can you join in and only read one of the books in series? I've read the first two books and the first novella in the Shatter Me series, and I want to read the third one for this challenge (if it fits, I don't know haha). Would that be alright? I don't have to read all the previous books, do I?
Uhh I have no idea.. I think maybe? I mean I see some people comment that they will join at a certain book.. so I'd assume yes?

I'm super excited to read some Patricia Briggs 😬😬 or any of the books for next months challenge. I just need to get my hands on the damn game of thrones book. People are so slow at returning library books. 😩

Alaina- you should just go to a bookstore near you and sit there all day, you'd probably finish game of thrones in like 5 hours lol

I've done it quite a few times for new releases I knew I couldn't get from the library and didn't have money to spend :P
I'm waiting for this huge Barnes and noble to open up near me. It will have a coffee bar and an actual bar. So I'll be spending time there to read books.
I know right?!?! It was supposed to be built and running a year ago--so I'm really excited for it to finally open

I'm planning on doing A Court of Thorns and Roses but my team hasn't chosen a date yet. I will also continue with series threads for Firebolt (Book 5) and Snow Like Ashes (Book 3+).
Also, was someone reading A Game of Thrones this month? I want to read it soon, so if you choose a date, I'll join you.
Additionally, I have TONS of ARC's to read, several of which have deadlines this month. So I'll be reading these books if anyone wants to join me and can get a copy. Some are already published, some aren't. I probably won't get through all of them this month.

Hey guys. So in the UK, it is officially 1st October and has been for the last 2 hours or so.And I'm currently lying wide awake debating whether to try to start my first book, or to attempt to get some sleep. You see, Netflix has just adapted one of Stephen King's books, Gerald's Game. Anyone heard of it? So my boyfriend and I decided to watch it. Watching a film about a woman chained to a bed for just under 2 hours? Psh, no problem.
Nope. That film is absolutely terrifying. I'm not a big horror fan, but I thought what can be so scary about this premise? Even though I am currently scared out of my brains, I really really enjoyed it and I'm thinking of picking up the book in October (yup, I'm a terrible person who sometimes watches adaptations without reading the books), if anyone fancies doing it as a BR?

It's okay I am currently reading Desperation by Stephen King and just watched the movie before finishing lol- I couldn't help myself. Anyways I'll read it with you!

Hey!!I'm just going to warn you guys that I'm probably going to read a crapload of books and then post their reviews within the next couple of days. I don't think I'll be able to read a lot this upcoming weekend. My boyfriend is coming into town for his birthday (this friday), then we are going to his brothers wedding on Saturday, and then my brothers birthday is also Saturday but we are celebrating on Sunday.
So I'm trying to get a lot of my BR's out the way before my crazy weekend approaches.
Alaina, I'm amazed at how many books you've managed to read over the first couple of days already haha! How do you do it??

@ashleigh I have a ton of library books due soon so that’s a huge motivator for me 😂😂@rae oh no. I don’t think any of you guys are slacking!! I know you’re all reading but extremely busy at the same time. I’m just sitting at home twiddling my thumbs.
