(view spoiler)[I wish I hadn't watched the Netflix adaptation before reading the book because I know what's to come and I'm scared haha.

This book is tense. I would hate to be in Jesse's position right now. Chained to a bed in your underwear, while your husband is lying unconscious on the floor, possibly dead, miles away from anyone to help. Terrifying.

I love the little interactions between Jesse's inner voices. Ruth is a bad ass, boss ass bitch by the sounds of it. Well Jesse's inner voice that sounds like Ruth. (hide spoiler)]
