wut up fellow bookies. :3I am currently reading Pride & Prejudice for my very first Austen! The thing is, my mother fostered a great love for Austen in me from a small age with all the BBC adaptions. Like, I've watched them a million times, but I never actually read the novels. I am loving it, though!
I am also kind of reading the fourth book, Rivals in the City, from The Agency series by Y.S. Lee. It's a really fun historical fiction mystery series I would def recommend if you're into that.
Love hearing what everyone else is reading!

Is there a certain reason why you hated it?
I just finished We Were Liars and...yeah... and I just started reading Half Bad by Sally Green. I'm hoping I'll like it.
There many reasons why I hate it. But I could go on and on so :1) The characterisation is bad, the main character is a Mary Sue.
2) Too much similitudes with Harry Potter for me to handle.
3) The moment when spoiler: (view spoiler)
4) Titles and passages of the book copy and paste from her HP fanfictions.
5) Many bad things that I hear and read about the author who don't make me want to give her any more of my money.
I could say more but I know it's a pretty unpopular opinion and I always get hated by peoples for it so I don't want to say more ^^"

Just finished reading we were liars, daughter of smoke and bones and cinder. Currently rotating my reading between scarlet( 2nd book after cinder), the 5th wave and the darkest minds. After I finish one of those I'll throw days of blood and starlight (2nd in the smoke and bones) in the mix :)
Marion wrote: "If you finish City of Bones it had, it's early in the book :)"I am on page 261 right now. Do you mean the chapter City of Bones?

It was like page 100 and something in the book City of Bones.
If you liked cinder you'll like scarlet she's an awesome character, I'm really liking the book so far

I just finished Crescendo (Hush, Hush #2) by Becca Fitzpatrick and I'm going to start Silence (Hush, Hush #3) tomorrow morning. :)
I'm currently reading The 5th wave by Rick Yancey. It's pretty good so far. Can't wait to meet some new characters and learn more about Cassie :)

Guys I am trying to decide what book to take on my trip.... It's between Game of Thrones or Shadow and Bone. Please people help me decide I leave tomorrow and I don't know which to take.....
Shadow and Bone is probaly way easier to read. If you want something light to read do not take GoT with you ;)

I definitely liked it but it was one of those books that I had to think about for a while before I decided that I liked it. I hope that makes sense haha :)

I am reading Will Grayson, will grayson from John Green. I wanted to read this book for a while now so i'm happy i finally got it!
For the first time ever I am listening to an Audio book and it is soo weird but really well done! :DBeing at work for 8 hours a day and being able to listen to a book because I can is so cool ^^
I just finished a book called "My Life Next Door" which was meh. I can tell why it was on sale in the Kindle store when I bought it.I am also attempting to read "Gone with the Wind" by the end of the year, which will be interesting because I will also be graduating College in December so these next few months are going to be busy, so wish me luck!
Heather wrote: "Stephen what Audio book were you listening to?"Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley ^^ and since, I also listened to Quitters Inc. by Stephen King and started Around The World in 80 Days, by Jules Verne ^^
Finally gotten around to reading The Host; I'm quite pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying it since I'm usually just a fantasy and contemporary reader. I'd really like to expand my reading in this genre so recommendations would be much appreciated. :)
