I'm about 110 pages into Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I'm so excited that I finally had the time to start on this. I've avoided everything about the movie until I could read it.
So today the new novel by Stephen king came out. I haven't read much of his work but I did read Mr Mercedes. A detective novel about bill Hodges and it was a 5 star read! I'd recommend to anybody because it's brilliant. Finders Keepers. The sequel came out today. So I picked up a copy for me and a copy for my girlfriend and we will be powering through this over the next couple days :)

But just know, the movie won't have the same effect on you after you've read the book. My BFF watched it without reading, and was blown away. I didn't have that happen when I watched it, but that was because I already knew what was going to happen, so my "blown away" moment was when I read the book. Does that make sense?
I'm currently reading Panic by Lauren Oliver. (I'm behind the reading trends all the time, lol)I'm 116 pages in and enjoying it. It's not the best thing I've read, but it's pretty good

I need to read Fangirl! I recently read Eleanor and Park and fell in love with Rainbow Rowell's writing.

It's a 3rd run through for me, but I'm listening to it on audio with my children and it's their first exposure. We're really enjoying it.

Neil Gaiman is AMAZING at narrating his audiobooks! I listened to The Graveyard Book with my daughters last year and was blown away with the job that he did. I also listened to Coraline with him narrating and it was amazing!
Hey everyone! Currently I'm reading To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han. I'm almost half away and so far, this book is quite okay and relax? For me and a bit slow at first. I'm not saying that I don't like it but yeah just okay for now

I'm glad I did too. I'm not even sure if I know who plays Nick in the movie, so I've got my own image of him. I have some friends who never read the book who were blown away by the movie, so you might be right about that. I'm going to watch it after I finish reading and see what I think.

But this is just one of those stories that, once you know what's going to happen, you'll never experience that shock again.
My BFF said the movie haunted her for days and days, which is what the book did to me.

I just remember Nick being described as very handsome and kind of movie-douchebag looking, and he was the first actor to pop into my head.

Have you ever regretted reading a sample of a book because it was so good but you don't have the money to buy it?? Just did that with Magonia...
A lot of the books I read I get from an online library (you can get ebooks and audio books there) but sometimes they don't have the newest books out there that I'm seeing people reading. My local library is very shameful when it comes to fiction books unfortunately because they just don't have the space. They mainly have books for school (like when you're doing research or the books you need to read for a class). The next closest library to me is about 45 minutes away which can be a bit much sometimes. My closest books store is about 30 minutes in the other direction. Again not always a good distance to go. So ebooks and online libraries it is. Unfortunately the updating can be a little slow. Ah well. I still need to catch up on a lot of books. My drive of reading has been severely lacking as of late. I just haven't have the drive but now I'm getting back into it. There are a ton of worlds out there that need to be explored!
My main point to all of this, have any of you had issues with reading samples you can't afford yet?
(I hope it's okay to post this here. I'm new to this group and I'm still learning about all the threads. Please let me know if this needs to be moved! Thank you!!)
Just finished Daughter of Smoke and Bone (which was awesome) and 5 pages into Clockwork AngelI'm so excited to read it
I'm currently reading Clockwork Prince!! I swear i thought when i started reading the Infernal Devices i was gonna fall for Will because everyone seems to prefer him over Jem but i just can't, I am absolutely in love with Jem. And to be honest i didn't think i was gonna like this whole shadowhunter thing, wow was i wrong! A bit scared to start the Mortal Instruments tho, i know a lot of people don't really like Jace and Clary.
Chloe wrote: "just started Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. enjoying it so far"How far are you in the book?
I just finished it yesterday and loved it.
Geena wrote: "I'm currently reading Clockwork Prince!! I swear i thought when i started reading the Infernal Devices i was gonna fall for Will because everyone seems to prefer him over Jem but i just can't, I am..."I prefer Jem too <3
I'm reading All The Light We Cannot See. It's amazing. Also, I'm planning to pick up Pushing The Limits today.
I'm having a hard time choosing my next book. Either Ready Player One or a Stephen King book.
Between sleeping and being on GoodReads, my eyes are glued to The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Such a detailed and wonderful story.
I've been struggling with a David Baldacci novel and so I decided to take a break from it and read 'Will Grayson, Will Grayson' I really want to read some light and fluffy novel. Any suggestions? :)
