How far are you? I stopped at around 60 pages bc I found myself bored/not interested in continuing, which was surprising since everyone has been raving about it like crazy. I absolutely love video games/fantasy/dystopias. I've since heard it has a slow start by several people though, so was planning on giving it another go.

I just hit page 78, and it is definitely starting to finally pick up. I think you mat want to try to give it a second change, because I was literally on 58 when I read this post and debated stopping it too. But, I'm curious now where this will take me.

I wasn't sure I'd like it when I first picked it up, either, but it ended up being a quick and captivating read. How far are you into it? I got about a third of the way through before I decided I liked it. I liked it so much, that I ended up loving the prequel novellas and the second book :p

I am now rereading shadow of night by Deborah Harkness just because I purchased the last book in her all souls trilogy (the book of life) and have forgotten some details, but I remember really enjoying the first two books
