Samantha (missymaysreadingnook) | 483 comments I wanted to double check on this cover :/ For me the cover is dominated by the legs, but it does show her hands and arms a little bit. It seems like more of the body than what your examples showed, but I thought it would work since it's the focus of the cover. Thoughts?

Rissa | 843 comments I saw that the hands don't have to be bare but does the torso?

So these won't work:

Wriggle & Sparkle by Megan Derr Flamingos Stand Together by S. Allen ?

The torso doesn't need to be bare either. Those examples look good to me.

D.G. | 1 comments Question about Science Fiction & Vampires Genres...how do we determine that? Are we going by the top genres in the book page?
For instance, if you see the top genres for the book in this link https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
Science Fiction is the first genre.

Or for vampires...is it fine as long as there's any vampire or does it have to be a main character?

Yes, let's go with science fiction as one of the top genres on the book's page.

The vampire does not have to be the main character in the book, but it needs to be more than a mention. That's usually not a problem because they tend to take over, don't they? *grin*

I'd rather it be just the head, but if you or one of your team members can't find a cover with just a head, let me know.

Yes, make your own thread! I think Janelle somewhere that was the way to do it - not sure if it was here or somewhere else. That's actually helpful as you can save a few spaces to make updates.

ETA: Here's the post with Lanelle's instructions. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

It looks great Abir. Feel free to check out the other teams' thread for ideas. You'll need a team name.

And you should start talking about assigning the tasks. A few of teams have asked that each member pick two tasks that they want to read for. That's a great idea.

Alison (Lady Coffin) S | 2318 comments Would this be ok for arms or hands on the cover?
Hard Justice (Alpha Security, #3) by April Hunt
Or is it ok for torso? Both neither?
So then what about his one for Hands? or Hand and Arm?
Better Off Undead (The Bloodhound Files, #4) by D.D. Barant

Sorry, this Torso, Arm, Hand thing is messing me up.

You might want to message everyone who is playing .... I see a couple of posts where people are commenting along the lines of "I'm reading a book now with a head on the cover so I'll take HEAD" (or something along those lines) ....

Too much head, torso and hips to be a arms/hands cover. I guess it would be alright for torso. Barely.

As for the second cover, I wish there wasn't a head there.

Please refer to the sample covers I provided.

Totally understandable. Jenny might be a bit overwhelmed. She only has a few days to get everything organized.

From what I can see, all of the captains are doing great. I love seeing how the teams are coming together.

Alison (Lady Coffin) S | 2318 comments It is interesting, and not having the books start until Mondays gives them the weekend to get even more organized.

Amanda (zmobie) | 159 comments I have a question on body parts. Do they necessarily have to be human?

Since Frankenstein's monster was humanoid, I'll say that the body parts should be human. If for some reason, your team is having trouble finding a certain body part, let me know and I might change my mind :)
