Your cover is fine, Samantha.

The torso doesn't need to be bare either. Those examples look good to me.
So these won't work:

Oh, awesome! Thanks so much Lanelle! :)

For instance, if you see the top genres for the book in this link https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
Science Fiction is the first genre.
Or for vampires...is it fine as long as there's any vampire or does it have to be a main character?
D.G. wrote: "Question about Science Fiction & Vampires Genres...how do we determine that? Are we going by the top genres in the book page?

Yes, let's go with science fiction as one of the top genres on the book's page.
The vampire does not have to be the main character in the book, but it needs to be more than a mention. That's usually not a problem because they tend to take over, don't they? *grin*

Thanks for pointing out the double Beth. You have Beth on your team, and I've put a new sign-up on Team 5.

I honestly haven't decided yet. It will depend on how many people sign up, and how many books they say they read each week.
How many people..."
You mention "21 books in 28 days" but I only see 11 tasks. Am I missing something?

I'd rather it be just the head, but if you or one of your team members can't find a cover with just a head, let me know.

Yes! The 10 books to provide the 'energy'. :)

Wait until October 2nd to start your books.

Yes, make your own thread! I think Janelle somewhere that was the way to do it - not sure if it was here or somewhere else. That's actually helpful as you can save a few spaces to make updates.
ETA: Here's the post with Lanelle's instructions. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Abir wrote: "Do we have to make the thread ourselves or you guys make it? I'm the captain, I just foud out and I don't know what to do, a little help please!!!!"
It looks great Abir. Feel free to check out the other teams' thread for ideas. You'll need a team name.
And you should start talking about assigning the tasks. A few of teams have asked that each member pick two tasks that they want to read for. That's a great idea.

Or is it ok for torso? Both neither?
So then what about his one for Hands? or Hand and Arm?

Sorry, this Torso, Arm, Hand thing is messing me up.

Wait until October 2nd to start your books."
You might want to message everyone who is playing .... I see a couple of posts where people are commenting along the lines of "I'm reading a book now with a head on the cover so I'll take HEAD" (or something along those lines) ....

Too much head, torso and hips to be a arms/hands cover. I guess it would be alright for torso. Barely.
As for the second cover, I wish there wasn't a head there.
Please refer to the sample covers I provided.

I bet she totally forgot that.

Totally understandable. Jenny might be a bit overwhelmed. She only has a few days to get everything organized.
From what I can see, all of the captains are doing great. I love seeing how the teams are coming together.

Or could I, say, read a book with a mermaid tail on the cover for legs/feet, or a monster paw/claw? for hands...and an animal head for the head?

Since Frankenstein's monster was humanoid, I'll say that the body parts should be human. If for some reason, your team is having trouble finding a certain body part, let me know and I might change my mind :)

Oh, I was just curious. I have a book coming up that has an animal head on it and it made me wonder. But not a problem. :)
