Someone might want to make a nomination from among the books listed here. I believe they were all published in 2017, but anyone making a nomination should check. I just read Thornhill and it was really good, also I feel like I need a support group about it. (Also, it's a super quick read (I finished it in less than 2 hours), so a good one to get a book in under the wire!)
voting for The Hate U Give because everyone should read it. I enjoyed it, and it captures the teen voice and the different sides of the issues very well.
