I do not hate her but I would not vote for her. She is the closest thing to a socialist that America has had since FDR. What FDR did needs to go no further. America needs someone like Ronald Reagan again.

I will give you three reasons why I do not like her policies:1. She does not support tax cuts to reverse a recession. The fact is, that is the best way.
2. She states that the economy is not working for the middle class. The fact is that America has the largest middle class in the world and remains the world's richest nation.
3. She vote against drilling in ANWR while oil prices are draining American wallets.
OK, Can anyone give me three reasons to support her? (Not that you would care) I will not hate you if you can.
1. (and i'm pretty sure these apply to both her and obama): she's against giving tax cuts to corporations who ship their jobs overseas2. as far as I know, she's not for "100 more years of war" (sounds expensive)
3. she's pledged not to make W's tax-cuts

The only thing I have to say is, 'I'm not saying anything...'
I like Hillary because I don't have to wonder what she's about. Inasmuch as a politician can possibly be straightforward, Hillary does so. My 3 reasons:
1. Pro choice
2. Pro education
3. Pro health care
Not that these make her any different than Obama, as Shelly said, but they sure as hell make her different than anyone on the red side.
I think that her ideas for healthcare are admirable. If one could model it after the British system, but fix the problem with wait times for treatment, it would be a great system! Having said that, I don't find anything else about her near as appealing as Obama, and I don't feel that I would trust her any more than McCain. I would say that I am pro choice and pro education as well, but I'd go with Obama on that. I'm glad you're diggin her Shelly, I've tried, and I'd like to. I'd like to feel like I had some options that didn't make me feel sick to my stomach when I thought about them. I'm convinced that it's all a bit of educated gambling, you never know what you're going to get until they get in there. It's like getting married to someone you've never lived with, or worse, never slept with. You think you know them, you think you have a pretty good idea of what it's going to be like and WHAM! You get the REAL them... I lived in Texas while Bush was Governor, and I'll be honest with you, I thought he was going to be a pretty good pres. Was I ever wrong! If I'd have had the slightest idea he was going to turn out the way he did, I would have voted for Gore in a minute! But, we can't go back; there are no do-overs.

We need to make our system cheaper. It is regarded as the best in the world. But it would be a herculean task to reduce the cost of health insurance.

Oooops, sorry, KD. You said you were a dick, not an asshole. My mistake...Anyway, I don't think Hillary can beat Big Mac in November, regardless of how much I like her. Being a small-business owner, I have felt the effects, time and again, of just how sexist people are. Even my female realtor calls my business partner and I "the girls." It pisses me off, but even if it's subconscious, I dont' think the US wants a woman as our President.
So, yeah, Obama probably does have it sewn-up.

my sister's a repub (along w/ most of my family and all her friends) and she seems to feel McCain couldn't win against Obama or Hillary. (?) Funny how right-wingers think he's too liberal cos he's against torture.I was gonna vote for Ron Paul b/c I didn't prefer Hillary or Obama over each other and would vote for either of them over McCain. But then Tina Fey and SNL swayed me over to the Clinton side.
This whole delgate/super-delegate thing is such a mess. apparently although Hillary won Texas she didn't win in Dallas, Austin, or Houston where all the delegates are...what a clusterfuck.

I hate them all but I'm the one who voted for that fascist David Duke in the Republican primary years ago.Why? Why the heck not. I agree with the King Dinosaur. I saw Ralph Nader give an interview the other day--never heard of the guy before in my life, and his small speech was the most down to earth and practical message I have ever heard from any candidate. Someone tried poking around in some sht to start his sparks and he flat out said, something along the lines of "why waste our time campaigning bringing each other down? There are more important issues that need to be discussed." which I give a thumbs up to. Everyone has skeletons in their closet, and who really cares? It really pisses me off when candidates go on and on and on and on about how the other guy would do the job wrong, when they could be spending their time prepping for doing the job right themselves. Go Nader! oh yeah I hate hillary too

If I had my druthers, I'd vote for that crazy ufo-spotting Kucinich. His sense of human rights are much more in line with my own. HOWEVER, if we change too much too quickly our society will fucking freak and there WILL be riots. There are things I like about mccain--he seems to be able to get along with the blue team relatively well--but he's still been in bed with GW from the beginning. And I say "EW, EW, EW" I want none of it. Hillary Clinton is extremely liberal in comparison.
