you don't like her politics? well, that's a different story. you don't like her even though you've never met her? get a life.

Arminius, I take back what I said on the other thread about you being good looking. As if that's even your real picture...

1. She does not support tax cuts to reverse a recession. The fact is, that is the best way.
2. She states that the economy is not working for the middle class. The fact is that America has the largest middle class in the world and remains the world's richest nation.
3. She vote against drilling in ANWR while oil prices are draining American wallets.
OK, Can anyone give me three reasons to support her? (Not that you would care) I will not hate you if you can.

2. as far as I know, she's not for "100 more years of war" (sounds expensive)
3. she's pledged not to make W's tax-cuts
(http://www.nytimes.com/2006/04/05/bus...) for the super wealthy (which have been proven to widen the already sizable gap between the rich and the poor) permanent
The only thing I have to say is, 'I'm not saying anything...'

My 3 reasons:
1. Pro choice
2. Pro education
3. Pro health care
Not that these make her any different than Obama, as Shelly said, but they sure as hell make her different than anyone on the red side.
I think that her ideas for healthcare are admirable. If one could model it after the British system, but fix the problem with wait times for treatment, it would be a great system! Having said that, I don't find anything else about her near as appealing as Obama, and I don't feel that I would trust her any more than McCain. I would say that I am pro choice and pro education as well, but I'd go with Obama on that. I'm glad you're diggin her Shelly, I've tried, and I'd like to. I'd like to feel like I had some options that didn't make me feel sick to my stomach when I thought about them. I'm convinced that it's all a bit of educated gambling, you never know what you're going to get until they get in there. It's like getting married to someone you've never lived with, or worse, never slept with. You think you know them, you think you have a pretty good idea of what it's going to be like and WHAM! You get the REAL them... I lived in Texas while Bush was Governor, and I'll be honest with you, I thought he was going to be a pretty good pres. Was I ever wrong! If I'd have had the slightest idea he was going to turn out the way he did, I would have voted for Gore in a minute! But, we can't go back; there are no do-overs.

We need to make our system cheaper. It is regarded as the best in the world. But it would be a herculean task to reduce the cost of health insurance.
America will rue the day it abandons capitalism for socialism.
They're saying she might be back in the game after last night...Maurice, you know about this shit better than most of us, and you are a Hills man, what are her chances at this point...honestly?

Anyway, I don't think Hillary can beat Big Mac in November, regardless of how much I like her. Being a small-business owner, I have felt the effects, time and again, of just how sexist people are. Even my female realtor calls my business partner and I "the girls." It pisses me off, but even if it's subconscious, I dont' think the US wants a woman as our President.
So, yeah, Obama probably does have it sewn-up.
Maurice???

Maurice, do you really think so? I thought so, but was told that there has been too much "bad blood" between them now...

I was gonna vote for Ron Paul b/c I didn't prefer Hillary or Obama over each other and would vote for either of them over McCain. But then Tina Fey and SNL swayed me over to the Clinton side.
This whole delgate/super-delegate thing is such a mess. apparently although Hillary won Texas she didn't win in Dallas, Austin, or Houston where all the delegates are...what a clusterfuck.
And i fucking can't fucking believe Nader is running again. What's with this guy? What is his appeal?

anyway, you are right people do say they want change and then tow the party line. how come you get this, i get this, yet nader doesn't get this?

Why? Why the heck not. He wasn't going to win and I thought perhaps it might start people thinking that if someone like DD could get so many votes perhaps things are worse than they have been not-thinking.
I will vote for Hillary in our noone cares PA primary. And I really really hate Obama and if it comes to it I will vote for McCain since I like to be called ma'am and oh wait wrong group or whatever, because he is someone who knows what pain means and I think that is valuable knowledge.
I want Bill back getting blow jobs in the Oval Office.
That's what I'm voting for.

Right? I hate these armchair chats about the condition of the world. So cozily civilized. So, sure, I'm crazy.
Like a fox...
No, just making stupid joke.

(I am not angry about it, just think someone ought to make this clear)
And Maurice, I don't feel like searching for Miz Shannon so pls explain?
*I* got your back, and of course all the rest of you if it comes to that.
(Xio is feeling feisty today, she is blaming KD's metal radio station)

Gojira? Is making me sit on my chair in odd squat ready to pounce Hobbsean style. That's the tiger or the man. Speaking of Leviathan.....

Bruce looks ridiculously skinny in that little unitard! His son however was HOT!
Was that on topic dear?
Was that on topic dear?
Oh, and BAD hair, very, very, bad hair...

As to the "republicrat" comment:
If I had my druthers, I'd vote for that crazy ufo-spotting Kucinich. His sense of human rights are much more in line with my own. HOWEVER, if we change too much too quickly our society will fucking freak and there WILL be riots. There are things I like about mccain--he seems to be able to get along with the blue team relatively well--but he's still been in bed with GW from the beginning. And I say "EW, EW, EW" I want none of it. Hillary Clinton is extremely liberal in comparison.
Okay Maurice, I'm tired of being the restrainer, and I don't know this Vicki Jean person, so go on honey...let her rip!
I give up! Maurice...you are back to being my arch nemesis!
