1. Warbreaker
2. The Lies of Locke Lamora
3. A Dragon of a Different Color
4. Oathbringer - reread
5. Nevernight
Purchased: retroactively applied to A Shadow in Summer

I liked it, but the writing felt a bit off for me. I could tell that two people wrote this book. The technical machine and guns descriptions to cheesy romance lines felt disconnected.

And I love it that you go on with one series one book after another. I used to do the same but since I joined GR it sort of went to one book a month which is not that good at times. I'm planning to remedy that also and start reading series like this.
And regarding that book, after your info I think I'll leave it for a lot lot later. I'm reading Midnight's Daughter now by Karen Chance and it feels disconnected the same way - only in this case between cheesy romance and tons of fight scenes. From fighting in blind rage to searing passionate kisses and desire the next moment. It just doesn't feel that right for me. Or maybe I've become to old for this kind of reads! :D

I used to read one book right after another in a series too. I'm not sure what happened, but now I rarely do that. I wish I could get back to doing that, then I wouldn't have so many unfinished series.

Thank you, Laura!

Good month for this challenge! I am very happy I finally got around to read the Percy Jackson series that I bought at least 5 years ago, lol.

I might be feeling a bit guilty for buying a few books, Niki. ;)

No guilt required - I think i'm just an old lady when it comes to the fun of this series. When I relax a little i'll try it again lol.

Thank you, Laura! That's normally how I read series. Unless If I commit to buddy reads and have to space them out. :)
