I read 39 pages of This Woven Kingdom! It is currently my buddy read for august 1 and the only thing that managed to happen in here is Alizen visiting a store and talking to him (his name is Deen) and also noticing how on one time that she almost died by a random boy on a street trying to slit her throat, the boy actually tried to kill himself after that but inevitably saved by the prince which is the first time that the prince actually did something kind to a citizen.

Ooooh 39 is a lot! Are you at the start of the book? I was reading Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands. It's my buddy read from last month but last month I had a huge reading block so I'm continuing now. (view spoiler)[ I managed to read that Emily and Rose were looking for clues using a faerie foot. And then they found some of the folk which started torturing Rose and then Emily drove them away. (hide spoiler)]

Oh i really only started on chapter 9 and i ended on chapter 12... In the middle of chapter 12, i am pretty much enjoying the book so far and as a person who is really struggling with reading fantasy books (i can't wrap my head around unknown terminologies and the political structure and the world building of fantasy books), and this is pretty good....eme
