Re: Task 20.4 - Pachinko by Min Jin Lee I don't see a yellow object on this cover, only a multi-colored one. If you've had this cover approved in the help thread, please repost with a link to the task creator's approval.

Re: Task 10.10 -- The only editions of Rise of the Rocket Girls: The Women Who Propelled Us, from Missiles to the Moon to Mars that fit the prescribed page range are ebooks. Ebook page numbers are not used to establish specific number of pages in the SRC. Please review the rules for determining page count when using ebooks/audiobooks: Books Formats #7.

Task 20.1, option 2 requires that you state that the series is new to you when you post. Please repost this task including the required statement.

Task 20.4, option 2 requires that you include the cover when you post. Please repost this task including the required element.

steph (librarianish) (steph_davidson) | 540 comments For task 25.6 Natural Wonders, option 1, "South America, India, Asia or the South Sea Islands" - does that include Papua New Guinea? I read Euphoria and wondered if that would fit this task.

Sorry, I misread the task! I'll fit the book in somewhere else.

re: Task 5.10 -- No Place Like Oz appears to be an ebook without a print edition. You must have it approved for length in Ebook page verification in General Help.

Your repost should include the line number of the approval in the ebook spreadsheet or a link/post number of the post in which the ebook was approved for length.

Task 20.4 explicitly restricts the use of children's books. If you decide to use the book for a different task, please review the rules for books with the main page genre childrens or kids: Books Formats #4 and include the required information in your repost.

Re: Task 15.3 -- It is standard SRC policy that moderators go by a book's Goodreads record. The author listed for A Conjuring of Light is V.E. Schwab. I'm aware this is a pseudonym, however, for a book to work for a specific author name, the name must appear on the book's main page.

Kristina Simon (kristinasimon) | 11204 comments Katy - posts 2189

We have several Katys in the challenge. You will need to request a unique Readerboard name in the Readerboard Names thread. Post 3 in that thread can give you more guidance.

Also, please review the Posting Requirements before posting completed tasks. Specifically:

3. You MUST include a link to the book edition you read and the link must be included along with the specific task posting information.

Once your Readerboard name is all set up, please go back to the Completed Tasks thread and repost your tasks, with the required links, so your points can be recorded.

Blood Work does not appear to have a print edition with verified page numbers listed on Goodreads. You will need to have the page number issue resolved before reposting. You can do this by asking a GRs librarian to verify the number of pages and update the GRs records in the Anyone with librarian status thread in General Help.

If the book is clearly not a children's book, you may post in the Not Really For Kids Books thread in General Help to get approval to use the book for tasks that otherwise would not allow them. If the book is approved, you need to include the post # that contains the approval when you repost.

Re: Task 10.2 - Made for Me does not appear to have a verified print edition on Goodreads. You will need to have the ebook approved for length in the Ebook page verification thread in General Help or have a GRs librarian verify the number of pages in a print edition and update the GRs records. You can ask a librarian to do this in the Anyone with librarian status thread in General Help.

Re: Task 50.1 - Wait for Me has the same issue as above.

Please repost these tasks once the books have been verified for length and/or the print editions have been updated.

Task 30.8, option B requires that you read one book from BookRiot's Best Books of 2017 (so far) list and one book from BookRiot's 100 Must-Read Strange and Unusual Novels list. The Hate U Give and The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America's Shining Women are both on the same list.

Re: Task 30.3 - Standard policy of SRC is to go by the Goodreads record for a book. Since the author of Radical Candor: Be a Kickass Boss Without Losing Your Humanity is listed as Kim Malone Scott, the author's initials are considered to be KMS. So, no, sorry, the book will not work for option 2 of this task.
