Kristina Simon wrote: "Anne (Booklady) - post 377Task 30.1, option 3 requires that the author's last name have 7 letters in it so Estelle Ryan will not work for this option."
You're right. I had a senior moment there, Kristi. That, or I can't read ;) I'll repost when I have a different book.

Lisa - post 403Welcome to the challenge, Lisa!
Please revisit the Readerboard Name thread. "Lisa" is not available, you'll need a unique readerboard name. Please repost your task(s) once your Readerboard name has been set up.

Dakimel - post 405Please review the Posting Requirements before posting completed tasks. Specifically:
3. You MUST include a link to the book edition you read and the link must be included along with the specific task posting information.
12. It's fine to include more than one newly completed task in a post. If you do include more than one task, the tasks must be listed in numerical order, lowest to highest.
Christy T - post 407Task 10.10, just FYI no need to repost.
Please make sure to use the method to determine page numbers when using ebooks.
You posted: Ravage Me (ebook - cannot use page numbers)
No mass market paperback
Most commonly shelved paperback: Ravage Me (270 pages)
Bluemoon - post 442Task 25.1, Holiday 1 requires a book that was first published in 2015. Dark Tides was published May 12th 2015 by Lyrical Press, Inc but it was (first published 2007).
N. - post 444Task 30.7, option 3 requires a book with 4-word title, in which at least one of the words is a 4-letter word. The Red Letter Plays does not have a 4-letter word in the title so it will not work for this option.
Fairlee - post 458From your description, I assume you are claiming task 5.2 in this post. If not, please let me know as that's what I've recorded.
No need to repost this task (unless it's not 5.2) but, in the future, please include task numbers in your completed task posts. It makes life much easier for the moderators.
Oma1229 - post 462You are correct, the main page means page that comes up when you click on the book's title. When I verified your post on Sep 16, 2017 at 11:04AM, the genres on the book's main page were the ones listed in message 44 of this thread. At that time, childrens showed up as a genre on the main page with 21 users. I did not, and never have, clicked on "top shelves" during verification. Therefore, at that time, the book could not be used for the task.
Genres change all the time. That's why I intentionally copy what genres are on the main page when I'm verifying the book. Currently, the genres on the main page of The Little Prince include:
GENRES
Sequential Art > Graphic Novels 71 users
Classics 50 users
Fiction 44 users
Sequential Art > Comics 36 users
Cultural > France 28 users
Fantasy 27 users
Obviously, this is subject to change. And, I cannot verify the task at this time because you did not repost it in its entirety.
The safest thing to do in these circumstances would be to just include the AR BookFinder information so that if the children's genre reappears when I get to your post, you're covered. However, if you do this for for the graphic novel version of The Little Prince you'll find that it isn't eligible for the challenge at all since it's listed as IL: MG - BL: 3.2 - AR Pts: 1.0.

Oh, gosh. Math isn't my best subject outside of the Challenge, either...
I'll use these books for a different task. Thanks!

READ 60 - post 480From your description, I assume you are claiming task 5.5 in this post. If not, please let me know as that's what I've recorded.
No need to repost this task (unless it's not 5.5) but, in the future, please include task numbers in your completed task posts. It makes life much easier for the moderators.
DebraJean - post 487All posts, including reposts, must conform to the Posting Requirements. Specifically:
3. You MUST include a link to the book edition you read and the link must be included along with the specific task posting information.
The easiest way to do this when reposting is to go back to your original post, select "edit" in the bottom right hand corner (reply | edit | delete | flag *) and copy what's in the post. Cancel out of the edit, go to the comment box at the bottom of the completed task thread and paste. Then go back and add/delete/reword or whatever you need to do to fix the original post. This will preserve all your links.
Eerienight - post 490Please review the Posting Requirements before posting completed tasks. They help us keep the challenge running smoothly. For this post, specifically:

Please repost your tasks, including all the elements required for all posts.
Shannon South Africa - post 515EDITED: Never mind. See post 77 below.

Kristina Simon wrote: "Delicious Dee - post 521Task 30.7, option 3 does not allow subtitles. The Good at Heart: A Novel has the subtitle "A Novel.""
Ahhhh, a "A Novel-subtitle". I killed that, as that should not be a subtitle accoding to the librarian handbook, so you can repost, Dee.

Have I missed an update somewhere - I thought we were allowed to use any book in a (new-to-us) series on that list? That was my plan, anyway... Do I need to go back to the drawing board / library?!

thanks Fandury - I REALLY hate those A Novel adds! I didn't even notice it when I posted
Kristina Simon wrote: "Delicious Dee - post 521Task 30.7, option 3 does not allow subtitles. The Good at Heart: A Novel has the subtitle "A Novel.""
reposted in 551 - realized I could switch my 2 books and they would work for the same option :)
Cat wrote: "Have I missed an update somewhere - I thought we were allowed to use any book in a (new-to-us) series on that list? That was my plan, anyway... Do I need to go back to the drawing board / library?! "Sorry, Cat (and Shannon) for any confusion and (possible) reading list panic! ;-) After seeking clarification on a discussion that occurred while I was preparing for and running from Hurricane Irma, I see that you're correct. You can use any book in a (new-to-you) series that appears on the list.
Siobhan -- post 527re: Task 15.1 -- Criss Cross does not appear to have a print edition with verified page numbers listed on Goodreads. You will need to have it approved for length in the Ebook page verification thread in General Help.
Please repost this task once the books has been verified for length and include the line number of the approval in the ebook spreadsheet or a link to the post in the verification thread where the ebook was approved for length.
Alycia - post 530Re: Task 20.5 - All 20-point tasks are one book tasks. I've counted Monstress, Vol. 2: The Blood for option 1 of this task. Feel free to move The Pursuit to another task or, if you'd prefer I count this book for option 2 of task 20.5, just let me know.
EMurphy - post 536Task 30.8 requires that the books you read have a combined total of at least 600 pages. You posted the audio edition of Hunger: A Memoir of (My) Body. There is no mass market paperback. The most commonly shelved paperback: Hunger: A Memoir of (My) Body has 320 pages. The edition of The Vegetarian you linked to has 188 pages. 320 + 188 = 508
Lois - post 538Task 20.3, option 1 requires that you cite the page number where your book can be found when you post. Please repost this task with the required information.

Kim E-post 629Task 25.5 -- when posting completed tasks, please list the options in numerical order from smallest to largest.
Option 2: The edition of The Book Jumper you've linked to is an audiobook. Please make sure to use the method to determine page numbers when using audiobooks that is found in the Challenge Rules: Books Formats #7.
The Book Jumper has no Mass Market Paperback. The top shelved paperback edition has 335 pages and, therefore, will not fit this option. If you read a different edition, please repost this task with links to the correct edition.

Shiraloo - post 653Task 15.4, option 2 requires a book first published in the 1980s taht has a title where the beginning letter of each word can be found in STRANGER THINGS. The beginning letters for If Tomorrow Comes are ITC. There is no 'C' in STRANGER THINGS so If Tomorrow Comes will not work for Book 1 of this task. It will work for Book 2.
Kathy P - post 658Task 20.7, option B requires a book written by a single author. The Year of Small Things: Radical Faith for the Rest of Us has two authors, Sarah Arthur and Erin F. Wasinger.
Bluemoon - post 659I assume from the task description you're posting The Mark of the King for task 20.8, not 20.3. If this is incorrect, please repost the task with the correct task number. If you did indeed mean for this book to be counted for task 20.8, there's no need to repost.

GreenFairy - post 724Task 15.1 -- Due to SRC rules, Lili St. Germain won't work for Elbrus. From the FAQs - updated 11/2016:
I. General default rules
A. If a task calls for author’s initials, what name do I use for the last initial?
While there are great variations in names, we work with the general rule that the author’s last name is the final word in the name that is preceded by a space. We realize that this may not be technically accurate in every case, but this is the default rule.
Based on the default rule, Lili St. Germain's initials are LG.

I don't think it is long enough. I will choose a different book to complete the task.
