SOLVED. Young Adult book about a girl who grows up with a ghost in her room. Spoiler ahead. [s]

I remembered a book that I was talking to a friend about that I read about 4 years ago on my kindle, it was one of those random ones that were either free on amazon kindle, or in the lending library thing they had for prime members. It's about a girl who grows up with a male teenage ghost in her room that only she can see. I don't remember any character names, but I do remember that the girl in it makes dresses, including her own for prom or homecoming. (SPOILER) The girl dies at the end by getting hit by a car. If anyone could tell me the title or the author I would really appreciate it, I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Thank you as well Emily! and thanks Kris for putting the spoiler alert in the header, this is the first time I've posted to a forum for goodreads so I thought that just putting it in before the spoiler was good, but I will put it in titles any other time I post something that does/could have one. :-) Also, I found out after going on amazon to check if that was the title that there is a sequel, though I don't know if I will be reading it any time soon. (I have a good amount I have to read).
