I finished my book from post #347: VEAnimal, Vegetable, Murder
12-27-19 (4 stars: enjoyable cozy mystery!)For the next book I choose IT for:
You Can Never Find a Rickshaw When It Monsoons: The World on One Cartoon a Day
New Letters: AD and BR
And I *finally finished my book for DR (way back in message #310). It was as good as the earlier books in the series :) Dead to the Last Drop (Coffeehouse #15), by Cleo Coyle, finished 12/24 ★★★★
Edit:I knew there was a reason I originally came to this thread (other than a new letter pair) - I finished my previous pair CR (msg. #351): Crashing Into Love - Where Personal Tragedies, Faith, & Love Collide by Yvonne Lehman 5* 12/31
This was a collection of three short stories - connected by a car accident. It was so much better than what I expected and I already look forward to read the next one by this author.
I take MO with Mord zur besten Sendezeit=Death of a Diva
New Pairs: AD & NE
Agnieszka wrote: "...I take MO with Mord zur besten Sendezeit=Death of a Diva"I finished it and still don't know if I want continue this series.
Since it looks like you don't like my AD I checked my Kindle and iBooks and found some books with ADVENTURE in title I could imagine to read or there's still Kitchen Addiction! I'll decide on it when I finish my LA & DO books (both currently reading - or at least started :-)
Next Pairs: NE & ST
It's not that we don't like it. Sometimes relationships take time -- even relationships between letter pairs and TBRs! :-DI'll take NE with
Better Late Than Never.New Pairs:
RO and ST

LOL Agnieszka!
Current Pairs: RO & ST
Finally finished one of my 'oldies' DO (msg. #260) once again with a different book than I originally planned Doing Germany 2 by Agnieszka Paletta 3* 1/11 but I needed this one much more for my challenges :-)I can't decide which one to take I like both so let's start from beginning and I use both. ST for one of my two Star books (for Quilting challenge) either You Don't Have to Be a Star or Mainhattan Star and I decide on a book for TH as soon as I finished my other oldie.
New Pairs: NO & MR
JoAnne wrote: "Finally one I can take!!
I'll take KN with:
I Know Who You Are by Alice Feeney
I had to return it to the library and get it again. But I did finish 12/27/19.

@Joanne -- Yay!@Connie -- Swear one of these days I'm going to put up three pairs and they'll be MO, NE and GU so you can claim all three with that book called "Mostly Nekkid Guy" that is no doubt on your TBR!
Okay, I finished Mo Willems' You Can Never Find a Rickshaw When It Monsoons: The World on One Cartoon a Day
for IT, from #353 on this page. It was a fascinating log book of his trip around the world, mostly by hitchhiking, buses & trains! Now I'll take the AD to read The Surprising Adventures of the Magical Monarch of Mo and His People
#79 on my TBR list!New Pairs: CR and WH

HAHAHAHA!
Finally I finished my LA (& MI) book from message #333 Last Mile=The Last Mile by David Baldacci 5* 1/18 - loved it so much - even more than #1in series Memory ManI noticed I forgot to report back my TH book (message #363) I read it the same day I picked the pairs *YAY* though only because I had it on my TBR for ages and there was a really great deal on Kindle unlimited in Germany so I could try it out starting with this book for 3 month *Double YAY* Threat Level Critical by James Flynn 4* 1/11
I just wanted to take WH but wondered what happened to MR and have the impression JoAnne picked the pairs from the last message of the previous page.
@Jennifer would it be fine with you if I pick all three pairs* and we start it with a new set?
* I mean, the two that were jumped over and the one Helen picked.
Jennifer wrote: "Yes. Good catch. I didn’t realize that happened."Great! In that case I'll read the following:
NO: Noelle on the Run
MR: Who Murdered Mr. Malone?
WH: When God Was a Rabbit
While waiting for your answer I struggled through Starr Witness (the other one from message #363) and will takle immediatelly Noelle on the Run (#8 in series & book set - which I will delete most likely as soon as I'm finished - so far my 'favorite' was 3.5* - the best thing I can say about most of these stories is: luckily they are short)
Next pairs: TO & GR
As expected I finished Noelle on the Run by Alexa Verde book 8 in The 12 Mysteries of Christmas Collection 4* 1/20 the same night. So far it was the best in the book set/series but all in all this series nothing I'd really recommend.
Agnieszka wrote: "As expected I finished Noelle on the Run by Alexa Verde book 8 in The 12 Mysteries of Christmas Collection 4* 1/20 the same night. So far it was the..."i'm always of two minds about sets like this, particularly if there's something by an author I like that I can't get any other way unless I buy 11 other people's stuff.
Not to mention that many of the books in those collections are too short to use individually to fill spots in some challenge groups :)
The main reason I was willing to invest the 1 Euro in this set was because I've seen is as a fast way to see if I like any of the authors - they appear to be rather popular among Christians and sell their books at pretty low cost. I've read at least one story by all but one of them and so far there's only one I'll look further into.
Agnieszka wrote: "The main reason I was willing to invest the 1 Euro in this set was because I've seen is as a fast way to see if I like any of the authors - they appear to be rather popular among Christians and sel..."Oh good point, Agnieszka (revises thinking)
Finally finished my book from back in post #355 and liked it as much as the other books in the series. I can only hope it's not the last of the series!Buried to the Brim (Hat Shop #6), by Jenn McKinlay, finished 1/23 ★★★★
I finished the book about The Surprising Adventures of the Magical Monarch of Mo and His People
.I'll take the TO to read The Dog Is Not a Toy, number 280 on my TBR list!
Next two groups: GR & LI
I can take the LI. The Little Book of Life Hacks: How to Make Your Life Happier, Healthier, and More Beautiful is on my list to read soon, so maybe this will prompt me to move it higher on the list :) New pairs : GR and WH
Barb wrote: "Finally finished my book from back in post #355 and liked it as much as the other books in the series. I can only hope it's not the last of the series!Buried to the Brim (Hat Sho..."
#jealous. I have to buy it soon.
Barb wrote: "I can take the LI. The Little Book of Life Hacks: How to Make Your Life Happier, Healthier, and More Beautiful is on my list to read soon, so maybe this will prompt me to move it hi..."I'll take WH because I have to read
Witch Is Why Two Became One in February anyway. New Pairs: GR and FA
Wow, there's been a lot of action here since I posted last. But I finished my RO book from Post #362:Roman by Sawyer Bennett - 1/26/20 ♥♥♥♥
I'll take OP and will read Open and Shut by David Rosenfelt, which is a nice non-romance book with no nekkid abs on the cover.
Pairs: GR and EN
And, no Jennifer, I don't have Mostly Nekkid Guy on my TBR, so there! **...off to see if it's a real book...**
Connie N. wrote: "And, no Jennifer, I don't have Mostly Nekkid Guy on my TBR, so there! **off to see if it's a real book...**"Lol!!
Oops either my last post got lost or I forgot to save it. Luckily the EN's still available :-)I really, really need Enigma for several challenges. Since it's a historical fiction book I put it off for more than a year now and decided this to be the perfect way to finally get it read.
Next pairs: GR & AV
Helen A.I enjoyed The Dog Is Not a Toy
!Next I'll take GR. I can't find adult books on my TBR so I'll read: It's All Greek to Me
!Next pairs: AV and DI
I'm grabbing PA with Panic another book I need for several challenges I'm dragging my feet with. Thank you Jennifer!Jennifer wrote: "I'll take DI with
Digging Up History.Next pairs: AV and PA"
I like this title very much :-)
Next Pairs: AV & ID
It's All Greek to Me
is definitely a book for just kids!!Now, I will take the ID and read: How Ideas Spread
!Next Pairs: AV & SA
I read yesterday my AV book (from message #358) The Adventure of the Egyptian Tomb by Agatha Christie 3* 2/26 - I still don't like Poirot even if this was one of the more enjoyable in the series.Since I want to give a try Say You're Sorry by Melinda Leigh I'll take SA.
The new Pairs: AV & ER
I've finished four of my back list of picks for this challenge --
and
. Of course, I'm still behind by four but whatever....I'll take AV with
.The new Pairs: RE & ER
Great progress, Jennifer! Well, disregarding the pending four (or pending five now), but whatever...
Jennifer wrote: "I've finished four of my back list of picks for this challenge --

Current Pairs: RE & ER
Agnieszka wrote: "Jennifer wrote: "I've finished four of my back list of picks for this challenge -- [bookcover:Crisis in the Red Zone: The Story of the Deadliest Ebola Outbreak in History, and of the Outbreaks to C..."Anything I can do to help. :-)
Connie N. wrote: "Great progress, Jennifer! Well, disregarding the pending four (or pending five now), but whatever..."So I finished
before actually admitting to myself that it was five, not four -- so now it is four, but I don't really feel like i've accomplished anything...
You're an inspiration, Jennifer! My books for this challenge languish for weeks before I finish them.
OMG Connie, i just went and looked at my oldest pick to see how long it's been languishing....... since August 2018!!!!But I did get to see a lot of your MNG (Mostly Nekkid Guys) on my way through the pages. That mollified me somewhat.
Current Pairs: RE & ER
Having just paged through your picks above I'm half inclined to believe the real reason you weren't wild about
was that the guy on the cover was overdressed.
