I've had that in Mt. TBR for quite some time too, so I'll also be watching to see what you think of it, Connie. I can take DA:

NEXT: KN and LE
JoAnne wrote: "I read Out of the Easy years ago and loved it."I have it out of the library now, so I'll let you know when I get around to reading it. It's on my "planned" schedule next, but since I'm reading 2 other library books at the moment, it may be a couple of weeks...
Finished my book for DA and really liked it. I've only read two books from this series, but I've really liked them both, so I'm glad there are a lot more to read :) Dance Hall of the Dead (Leaphorn & Chee #2), by Tony Hillserman, finished 5/13 ★★★★
I can take LE, but I'm not sure which book I'll get to first: If Onions Could Spring Leeks or Mr. Lemoncello's All-Star Breakout Game
NEXT : KN and DO
I'll take KN and will eventually read The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry: Love, Laughter, and Tears at the World's Most Famous Cooking School by Kathleen FlinnNEXT: DO and SM

I saw that! LOL!
I finished my book from Post #252:Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys - 5/24/19 ♥♥♥♥
I liked it very much. This is my first time reading this author, and she definitely built some very engaging characters.
I'll take PL and will read:Hostage to Pleasure by Nalini Singh
(I won't show the cover since it will most certainly initiate some comments on my choice of reading matter.)
NEXT: NO and HE
I can take HE with
Hearts of Resistance. I fearlessly posted the cover, connie!! LOLOLNew pairs: NO and RA
Finished my book for LE. I really liked it, but am sad that this is the last book in the series. I'm going to miss Betts, Gram and Jerome :( If Onions Could Spring Leeks (Gram's Country Cooking School #5), by Paige Shelton, finished 5/27 ★★★★
I don't have anything for either pair, but I'll keep an eye on the thread.
I finished one of my older pairs (CH) with Choose Joy: Because Happiness Isn't Enough by Kay Warren 6* 5/29.With another three pairs to do I won't take any this time - even if the RA would fit great a book I want (perhaps) read later this month. We'll see if it's still available when I finish my next pair.
Current pairs: NO and RA
I finished PL from Post #266, cover included:Hostage to Pleasure by Nalini Singh - 5/31/19 ♥♥♥♥♥

I'm not sure if you're a member of The Lost Challenges Group, but when I've seen this new challenge in today's newsletter I had to think of you *grins*

I finished the HE pick:
Hearts of Resistance. 3 stars, didn't really really capture me. New pairs: NO and RA
Finished SM with The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers. If you enjoy good character-driven science fiction, I'd recommend this first book in the Wayfarer series.Still working on a couple other pairs I picked up a while ago, so I'm not taking on either of the current ones available.

Sorry you didn't like it! I haven't read that one but I suspect there's a reason Pride & Prejudice, Emma and Sense & Sensibility seem to be more popular than it is!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one disliking it so much. I was glad to knock it off my TBR and now I know these gothic novels are not my cup of tea.
My favorite Austen is Persuasion though I have to admit it's at times a little tedious as well. Still I love this second chance aspect of this one so much.
Current Pairs: MA and TI
Finally finished my JU book, and I wonder why I waited so long. What an adventure! Just One Damned Thing After Another (Chronicle's of St. Mary's #1), by Jodi Taylor, finished 7/6 ★★★★
