Falling Fast #3

Falling Free

Rate this book
The bestselling author of Falling Hard (“An addicting read!”—Jen McLaughlin) returns to the racing hotspot of Chambliss, Florida, where the only thing faster than the cars on the track is the surge of chemistry in the stands.

Ever since she was a teenager, Grace Parnell has had one to prove her father’s innocence and overturn his prison sentence. That drive led her to become a tough, compassionate lawyer—until the case hits a heartbreaking end. Now Grace is adrift, with no idea how to rebuild her life. It’s certainly not the time to fall in love. But from the moment she meets Artemis Tanner, their instant connection is undeniable.

A motor-sports pioneer, Tanner has come to this little coastal town for the racetrack—but he’s staying for Grace. Even though the standoffish attorney seems determined to stay out of reach, Tanner doesn’t need a law degree to tell that their attraction is very, very mutual. As her visits to the track become more frequent, and as Tanner learns more about Grace’s troubled family, he starts to pry open the tiny cracks in her controlled demeanor. Hidden beneath, there’s an incredible passion waiting to be set free.

***4 "These terrible pickup lines!!!" stars***

My opinion is that this series is getting better and better...

I liked and this story very much, and to be honest i was waiting like crazy Tanner and Grace's turn after the ending of the second book...

Grace became an attorney for a certain reason... To get free her father from prison...
But then, her reality is falling apart and she is feeling lost...

In her devastated state of mind, she is meeting Artemis Tanner and she is charmed by him, even though that she doesn't want to...

And that's the reason why she run away from him...

"Fall free.
That’s what he wanted to see her do.
What scared her, though, was falling for him."

Artemis Tanner is a famous drift driver and he is coming to town to help Paxton with his new attempt on drift arena...

And then, by chance Artemis is meeting for once again Grace, after she went Cinderella to him the other night, and even though that she is trying to stay away from him, he is not going to let her...

He can see that there is a big attraction between them and he is determined to win her heart and to make her fall free....

"It hit him why he’d been drawn to her that day at the bar, and what continued to connect him to her so deeply. Grace’s shadows called to his own, coaxing them from their long-buried caves and crevices. The loneliness. The pain. He would have to face them if he wanted to be with her. And she would have to face hers¸ too."

So what will happen with those two???

Will Grace trust Tanner and let him in???
Will Tanner manage to unlock Grace and to show her that when you are falling free is a wonderful feeling???

“I was afraid I’d lose myself in your kiss.”
“And did you?”
“It was even worse than that—I found myself... I don’t want to fall in love with anybody that hard.”

I liked very much both Grace and Tanner...
Tanner was such a wonderful and easygoing guy... He was always so joyful and he was acting so free!!! Yep, he had his own problems in the past, but his character didn't change in a bad way!!!

From the other hand, Grace was a nice girl, but after the trutn that was revealed to her, she closed herself up... She started to question herself and her ability and even though that she wanted to, she couldn't let herself loose and trust Artemis!!!

Grace and Tanner were fitting so good together and their story was really good!!!

“Tanner, what do you want from me?”
“More, Grace. I want more of you, and I know it’s not right or fair when I don’t know how to stay... I don’t want to be another mistake, another person you believed in who lets you down.”
“Then don’t.”

As i told you before, for once again, i enjoyed and this story in the series and i liked very much the main characters...

I also liked that i saw and the previous two couples inside and i witness the changes of their lives!!!

Grace has lived her life to get her father freed from jail. When her father admits his guilt, Grace is utterly lost.

Tanner works at the new racetrack in town. He lived most of his life as a drifter, going where the work takes him. Finding that special someone was never had a role in Tanner’s life until Grace.

Both Grace and Tanner have a feeling of being alone and adrift in their lives, which makes it a perfect time to meet…can they see past their preconceptions and emotions…you'll have to check out Falling Free to find out.

Falling Free is a story about healing, learning how to trust again and love. It’s packed with exual tension you can cut with a knife and wonderfully timed witty banter making the story relatable and building that special character connection.

Great story, great characters and heartfelt emotions make Falling Free a wonderful summer romantic read.

I received this ARC copy of Falling Free from Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication June 14, 2016.

An emotionally charged romance with all the feels.

Tanner and Grace meet each other at the perfect time in their lives. Both are meandering lonely through life, and they have written love out of the equation for quite similar reasons. Both of them are the product of dysfunctional upbringings, and neither of them had much love growing up. (His was non-existent, hers was absent.) That's where the similarities end, though. They have each dealt with their demons in very different ways. Tanner is literally drifting through life and Grace is a closed-shop, totally focused on her work and her singular goal in life.

They meet as Grace has just received a bombshell that has shattered everything she thought she knew about herself. Now she is questioning everything, so, even though she is hugely attracted to Tanner, she continuously pushes him away.

Tanner was so patient and I loved him for it. I adored how he was written, and he is (hands-down) one of the most perfect book boyfriends ever. I'm still in a total swoon. He was sexy and sweet with a heart of gold. He could easily have become a player but he was a gentleman instead.

Even though this romance only spans two weeks it wasn't a wham bam kind of connection. It still felt slow-building.

This book was full of emotional angst, witty banter, great secondary characters, and a thrilling, captivating world/setting.

The writing and pacing were great. My only complaints are the seemingly rushed ending and cliched epilogue, but overall this was a fantastic read.

Highly Recommended.

Falling Free was a beautiful and heartwarming read.

I loved watching Grace and Tanner's relationship develop. Both had past hurts to deal with, together they were able to put the past behind them and find love, peace and happiness together.

Both Grace and Tanner were great characters, they were likable, relatable and kept me turning the pages with their story.
And their chemistry was off the charts!

Awesome read. I think this series keeps getting better and better. This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone. I do recommend however you read them all in order since there are several reoccurring characters.

Tanner came to Chambliss, Florida to help with the opening of the new racetrack. He lives his life moving from town to town. Going wherever the next race is. Settling down was never part of the plan but that plan may have to be rewritten after he meets Grace Parnell. Grace is a lawyer who has worked her whole life to prove the innocence of her father. When the truth comes out she finds herself more than a little lost. She has some solid walls built around her heart but Tanner is slowly chipping it away and helping her heal

A very well written story with amazing characters. I highly recommend this one.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the third in the series, and I loved it! I would recommend that you read them in order, as the lead characters in the earlier books are in this storyline, and we know much more about Grace from previous stories.

We start with her whole world being turned upside down by the one man in her life, and that evening she meets a man who has the power to do so too, but in a completely different way. It is such a brilliant start to the story, as we are so involved in her dealing with this huge question that she is facing about her whole life to date, that the possibility of a romance, and a brief one at that, is just so much more significant than it otherwise would be. Undoubtedly Tanner is a good guy, a friend to her friends, but they all know he leads a transient lifestyle. As things unravel and then re-form, we are subject to so many highs and lows, perfect reading! The chemistry is fiery, but these are two people with an amazing level of control. They use it to become real friends, something both have lacked in the past, and it is fun being along for the ride. Ms Wainscott has a really easy writing style, which meant that I stayed up far too late, as I could not stop turning the pages, insistent that I had to know how it ended. I was very happy that I did.

I do hope that we get another story soon, as I will be able to catch up on all my favourites, a group in which Tanner and Grace definitely belong.

***ARC Provided by the Author for an Honest Review***

Falling Free by Tina Wainscott is the third book in the Falling Fast series and the first of this author for me. Although I haven’t had the opportunity to read the first two, it hasn’t made that much of a difference for me. There was some reference to the first novels but overall it can be read as a standalone as well.

To start the story, I met Grace Parnell, a girl who pursued a career as a lawyer with the ambition of clearing her father’s name. Although she becomes very successful in her profession, it seems to be for nothing. When she discovers the truth about her father, she starts to question her belief and her motivation.

Artemis Tanner is what I think they call a drift racer, a man who has come to Grace’s town for a fundraising event. When he meets Grace in a bar, his only thoughts are to cheer her up, but the instant attraction between them leads to much more.

What I liked about this book was the banter between the characters, as it made it more enjoyable. Overall it deals with how people deal with finding confidence lost and their ability to learn how to place their trust in humanity again.

It is a wonderful read and one I would recommend. This is a four star read for me.

I'll be honest, at first I couldn't get into this story. The more I read, the more I enjoyed it. Funny, sweet, and shows that when you're at your lowest and everything you believed has been a lie, you can find the one person who brings you back and makes you believe again.
Grace is an attorney, who finds out her father is guilty of killing a man. She has spent her whole life believing it was an accident. When he admits that it wasn't an accident, she loses her belief in herself and what others tell her.
Tanner is a drift racer. Never wanting to settle down. When he sees Grace in a bar, they have an instant attraction but both are afraid. He just wants to make her smile and she wants to get her confidence back. Tanner is in town for a drift racing at the track being set up. They plan a fundraiser and he's part of it. They both have secrets and could they tear them apart before they're even started.

Love this series, and this one is another great book! Love the sweet story, and the characters are great! Fun and sexy story with some really heartfelt moments. Grace is an attorney, who has walls built up because people keep disappointing her and she doesn't believe she's capable of telling when people are lying to her. Tanner is a famous drifter in the racing world, who doesn't put down roots. These 2 have an instant connection, and it's wonderful! They are so cute together! They have great chemistry. Grace knows she'll care too much for Tanner, so she pushes him away because she doesn't want to be hurt when he leaves. I love this about her! I hate when girls know a guy isn't in for the long haul, so she acts like that's fine with her, but really it's not. Grace is honest about her not looking for a one night stand, but the connection between them won't be denied. Tanner is charming and a really good guy, who just wants to make Grace happy and be with her. Tanner is adorable! Loved getting to see the past characters from the previous books! The only thing I didn't like was a bit of a twist in Grace's life, I don't feel like it added anything to the story and it didn't work for me, but not enough to lower my rating. Loved this whole series, and I'm looking to more from Tina Wainscott!

This is the third book in this series, and some of the same characters from the last book are in this one as well. The story though is mostly focused on Grace Parnell an attorney who has worked for a client for her whole life thinking that he was innocent of his crime only to find out on her last visit that he tells her he is guilty and stop with all of the appeals. This information sends her for a loop professionally, and personally. She has always felt as a criminal defense attorney that she could read her client now she is doubting everything about herself. Enter Artemis Tanner a pro driver who goes and talks to her at the bar and she finds him attractive and engaging in the conversation, but she is scared. They meet a few more times and the more she is around Tanner the more she is scared of her emotions and comes up with different excuses for them not to be together. He, on the other hand, is not only attracted to her looks, but to her strong personality, and is working on ways to break down her walls. This is a very good story with a lot of emotion and a strong female lead character. Read the book and find out if Tanner can win her over. I got this book from NetGalley. I gave it 5 stars. #3 in the Falling Fast romance series

Thanks to NetGalley for a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I was drawn into this story right from the first page. Grace is a strong, independent characters whose self-confidence is shaken when she receives devastating news from her father. So when she meets Tanner at a bar, she is attracted but doesn't trust her own judgment and fights her attraction. Tanner, however, is a sexy and sweet car racer (drifter) who doesn't take no for an answer. Their relationship is sweet and warm, and I was definitely rooting for their success. I enjoyed learning more about the drifting scene, something I'd never really heard much about before. Wainscott has developed a great cast of characters, and it was enjoyable to revisit with them in this book. However, this book can certainly be read as a standalone. Although references were made to previous books, it wasn't necessary to have read them to understand this story.

This was just an ok read for me. I really liked Grace and Tanner but something just didn't connect me to the story. I understood Grace's reluctance to rely on others due to her past and Tanner's reluctance to settle down. I really did love them as a couple though. Overall just an ok read.

3 – 3.5 “prince of a politically insignificant European country” Stars

I really wanted to like Falling Free. I actually loved Tanner and Grace, their chemistry was outstanding and I could relate to both of them. I had a problem with both fighting the attraction and not wanting to get involved. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind this kind of storyline as a general rule, but when the whole conflict in a relationship driven story is the main characters not wanting to be in a relationship… well, it got wearisome.

Tanner and Grace had less than stellar childhoods but in different ways. This had set a course for each of their lives and it seemed their paths shouldn’t have crossed. A chance encounter in a bar set things in motion that neither of them expected.

Tanner is in town to help with the race track, a place Grace has come to be a part of of late, and now they run into each other all the time. Fighting an attraction is not so easy when you are constantly seeing one another. This turns out great for us, because when they let go and spend time together it’s a magical thing to behold.

Unfortunately, they kept letting their heads get in the way of their hearts, especially Grace. While I completely understood what she had been through and where she was coming from, I can’t lie and say I didn’t want to boot her in the butt every time she started overthinking things.

The story would drag for me at times, and this meant I almost DNF’d it at 30% then again around the 50% mark. Fortunately, I powered through and the rest of the story was much more amenable, i.e. they finally get it on, start to spend more time together and stop fighting the relationship just because.

I admired how Grace came to be who she was when many in her shoes would have failed completely. She was loyal, resilient, and under all that armor very soft hearted.

With both incredibly bad and very good luck, Tanner was an awe inspiring success story. His sincerity, his openness, and his willingness to force Grace to accept his love and open her heart to him made him…. Just perfect. Yes, I think he could be in a Book Boyfriend Hall of Fame.

“You found yourself in my kiss, and I found home in yours. I’ve never had a home before, and I’m sure as hell not turning away from it.”

The first half of the book was ok, the second half much better. The epilogue was pretty awesome, though I always want more. Falling Free was a sweet love story about two lost people finding in each other what they never dared to dream about.

Review can be read at It's About The Book

What a sweet and happy romance! The characters were imminently lovable and getting to hang around with the two other couples from the trilogy was great–getting to see their happily ever after along with watching Grace find the man of her dreams–and the man who could help her fulfill hers.

The story starts off with heartache. Grace just finds out that her must important client–her dad– has been lying to her for years. He’s guilty of the crime she’s been trying to free him from since she was a child; he’s the reason she went to law school. She’s bitter and feels like her ability to tell whether her clients are lying is gone. Totally disconnected, she hits a bar and meets Tanner.

Tanner’s also been lied to in his life. Lied to by his mother and his sister. His father probably would have lied to him too if he’d stuck around long enough. He’d saved himself by working hard even in the face of devastating loss, and he seemed that same loneliness and strength in Grace. Plus he thought she was gorgeous and wanted to know what was making her so sad. Luckily he got a walk on the beach with her and a kiss goodnight before she drifted away.

Coincidences kept happening to bring them together, though. Her father’s car, the T-Bird she’d meticulously maintained, has got to get gone. It has too many memories of the man she’d believed in and tried to save. The garage she takes it to get fixed up to sell happens to be the one that Tanner’s planning on opening a drift race track at. He sees her car and waits to talk to her again because he just can’t get her out of his mind.

Feeling’s mutual, because when Grace shows up to get the car, she sees Tanner and is so happy! She’d really enjoyed meeting him but her cautious side that was so slow to trust (wonder why!) had kept her from getting as close to him as her “other” side had wanted, He was smoking hot and she’d been alone for a while, so the fantasy of a one night stand had appealed to her that night at the bar, but she just couldn’t do it. Maybe there’s a chance she can still have her fling?

What they have is too complicated, though, and before they know it they’re on a track straight to love and commitment. But that’s not what Tanner’s ever wanted before, so he’s confused. Are his feelings for Grace enough to keep him there with her?

I’ve read the others in this series and so have a soft spot for this story. It’s a great summer romance with hot sex and cool characters who’re in it to play until they realize there’s something worth winning for–each other. Thanks!

How actually devastating everything went for Grace? After doing everything she could to be the best lawyer she can be, after dwelling too much on her inspiration to become the best she was then handed an unacceptable truth. I kind of liked how Grace changed after learning her facts. She's then sent herself out there and find out what she really want. I imagine this kind of thing happens for most people. I don't mean that they experience what Grace went through but the 'soul-searching' phase. After serving time with the only thing you know, you are to wake up one day and find that you don't even know yourself or what you can do.

If Tanner wasn't persistent and determined I don't think he and Grace will ever really get too far. I find him cute and I find his actions kind of sweet towards Grace. Being a person who doesn't stay in one place for long gets boring by time. What both characters have felt delicate or maybe it's just Grace but I felt like if they don't put themselves in the relationship they could only get too far and in the middle of the road one of them is bound to be left behind.

I absolutely loved the book. It has given me actual life lessons and now that I think about it, maybe being focused on one thing is too much. Maybe we all should try exploring. In all aspects in life.

I was so excited to read this one because I liked Grace from the first time we met her. I really hoped she’d get her own book and was thrilled to get to know her and see her fall in love. The connection between Grace and Tanner is palpable from their very first meeting. Even before they learn anything real about each other, it was obvious they were made for each other. They both had a rough time as children and they both found their way out of those times by finding something to focus on. Grace focused on becoming a lawyer to help her father who she believed was falsely arrested for murder when she was 8. Tanner found drifting and focused on becoming a professional drifter.

They both had their reasons to not want to give their hearts to someone else. Grace had been hurt, not only by her father, who she learned had actually committed the crime, but by another man she believed she loved. Tanner never felt like those that were supposed to love him actually did. His family chose other things over him, which led him to life in the foster system. Fighting the attraction between them was difficult, but I loved seeing them find a friendship first. Tanner wanted to be there for Grace and that was very sweet. He knew that he couldn’t be what she wanted or needed because he wasn’t planning on staying.

Tanner and Grace are great together, but I also loved the people they realized they could be during this book. Grace finds a new focus after losing it with her father’s admission. Tanner finds a desire to stick around and stop being a drifter in his everyday life. I loved seeing the couples from the previous books as well. I love that Raleigh and Pax are so overprotective of Grace. They are the family she didn’t really have, but always needed.

I really enjoyed this book and this series. Not sure if there are more books coming, but I definitely think I’ll re-read these in the future.

Returning readers will already know that there is more to Grace than what she shows the world but I hurt with her when she gets her heart broken at the beginning of this story. There’s so much to why she is the way she is and it is no wonder that she’s a little off-kilter. It shakes her world and has her rethinking so much, especially the handsome stranger she meets at a bar. And while it doesn’t work out so well, Wainscott delivers one of the best journeys ever as they meet again, become friends and then even more.

Tanner has some history of his own that has him keeping things light and not getting too settled in anywhere but seeing Grace again has him happy to be in the area for a little while. And the more time they spend together the more he’s evaluating if he might want to stay around for good. While his hang-ups aren’t as complex as Graces, and he seems to handle them easier, they still have quite the impact on him.

They are so much fun together – cute, funny, and just down-right adorable. Both have their difficult histories, which causes them to distance themselves from deeper relationships. But being so similar helps make it easier to face their troubles and own them.

Wainscott just keeps producing winners with her Falling Fast series. I wasn’t sure that I was going to like Grace – she sometimes came across as a little harsh in the other stories - but I have to admit she’s one of my favorite heroine’s from any author. And Tanner is absolutely a definite for anyone’s book boyfriend list.

(While this is part of a series, it can stand on its own. Wainscott does a great job of developing characters and plot so that you can start right here & be good.)

I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

As a new author to me, I wasn’t sure what to expect in writing style. What I found was a well written novel with emotion and heartbreak. I will definitely put her on my TBR list.

Grace Parnell has spent her entire life trying to prove her father’s innocence. She molded her life around it as well by becoming an attorney and fighting for the underdog. When they lose another appeal, her father finally tells her to stop because he really was guilty of murder. Her father didn’t want to lose the only person who cared about him so he had lied all those years. She was devastated and ended up at a bar on her way home. The guy across the room caught her eye and was just the distraction that she needed. They played a game of make believe and when things got personal, she panicked and ran.

Artemis Tanner is the guy who she meets in the bar. He’s in town to try to start a new style of racing at a local track. He wasn’t looking for any long term relationship but she was someone he couldn’t walk away from just yet. So he hung around and helped her buy a new car after he bought the T-bird from her. She didn’t want to keep it anymore because it had everything to do with her father.

Both of them have trust issues, who doesn’t, but they also have past lives that neither wants to really share with each other. Time will tell if they can open up to each other or walk away.

What did I think?

Like: Getting to see old characters.
Dislike: That it took me so long to read!

Would I recommend it?
Even though I still haven't read the second book, I can honestly say that this series, just keeps getting better and better. I LOVED the first book and I love this book just as much. It took me way too long to read this book, I pretty much read this book on my breaks and lunch breaks at work.
Mixed in with all the distractions and the days I wasn't able to read, it took me probably a month from start to finish! Overall I would say it took four to six hours, when I'm in the break room I tend to get distracted and have to re-read spots.

Grace and Tanner were very likable character's, the chemistry between them was there from beginning to end!I really enjoyed the banter between Tanner and Grace, and I love that we get to see a peek into the future for the characters in Book #1 and Book #2. These books can be read as standalone novels, but I highly recommend you read them all.

Overall, I love this series and I really hope there's another book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance!

I was given an ARC of Falling Free from NetGalley for an honest review and this is my review.
This was the third book in the Falling Fast series and it can be read as a stand alone even though it did have bits and pieces of previous books mentioned in this one the reader will not be at a total loss if they have missed the first two books but I would recommend them as well because they were both very good.
I enjoyed Tanner and Grace's story. I loved seeing a different side of Grace then when we had seen in the previous books when she was portrayed as an uptight lawyer who was very serious most of the time and in this book we got to see a completely different side of her where she has fun and does not take things as serious. As for her and Tanner I thought they were nicely matched, he was more laid back and and she was more uptight so it was a nice balance so it was fun watching the sparks fly between them. It was also fun watching Grace try to run from the chemistry between them.
It was also a nice touch by the author having characters from the previous books come back and play a big part in this book. A lot of the story from past books was finished but it was not done in a way that a new reader would feel like they missed a big part of what was going on so that was done very well.
Falling Free gets four out of five stars from me.

This is the third book in this series, and some of the same characters from the last book are in this one as well. The story though is mostly focuses on Grace Parnell an attorney who has worked for a client for her whole life thinking that he was innocent of his crime only to find out on her last visit that he tells her he is guilty and stop with all of the appeals. They meet a few more times and the more she is around Tanner the more she is scared of her emotions, and comes up with different excuses for them not to be together. He on the other hand is not only attracted to her looks, but to her strong personality, and is working on ways to break down her walls. This is a very good story with a lot of emotion and a strong female lead character. Read the book and find out if Tanner can win her over. I got this book from netgalley. I gave it 5 stars. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Attorney Grace has had one goal for half her life- become an attorney and work towards freeing her father from jail for a crime he didn't commit. Catering her career to freeing and defending the innocent, it all comes crashing down when the one person she believed in the most, is found to have been telling a lie the whole time. Deciding to drown her sorrows in drinks (because, that always works), she is approached by Tanner and they hit it off. The two are kindred spirits, both dealing with trust issues, and they are able to forge a friendship stemmed from just being themselves with each other, wrapped in a package of witty banter, lighthearted zingers, and sexual chemistry.

The book covers the (albeit short) journey that Grace takes as she discovers betrayal, love, and finding new beginnings in life. Tanner helps her to Fall Free, and it turn she helps him as well. The two have a chemistry that is overpowering, so much that Grace doesn't quite trust herself around him, yet they have a pull that can't keep them apart. I really enjoyed this book, and am looking forward to reading other books from this author.

Falling Free is the 3rd in the Falling Fast series by Tina Wainscott - I will start by saying I have not read the previous installments and didn't flounder at all with this book. It's simply wonderful!

We meet Grace - she has made it her life's goal to prove her father innocent and have his prison sentence overturned. She became a lawyer with that being her soul purpose in life. She is dealt a healthy blow when her father tells her to stop and that he is in fact guilty. This stuns her and she is left without a purpose.

Well, trying to figure out what she wants to do with herself, she meets Artemis Tanner - a drift car racer. When Tanner and Grace meet fireworks ensue. But can Tanner stay in one place long enough to win Grace's heart? Can Grace learn to trust him? This is the story of how they find themselves and each other.

Ms. Wainscott's writing is wonderful, her characters are strong and believable. If you are in the market for a great story - I strongly recommend Falling Free.

I am an independent reviewer for Bitten By Love.

Thank you to Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept via NetGalley for the advance copy.

I think this series keeps getting better and better. This is the third book in the series And i love it.

Grace has lived her life to get her father freed from jail. When her father admits his guilt, Grace is utterly lost.

Tanner works at the new racetrack in town. He lived most of his life as a drifter, going where the work takes him

When Tanner meets Grace in a bar, his only thoughts are to cheer her up, but the instant attraction between them leads to much more.

Tanner and Grace meet each other at the perfect time in their lives. Both are meandering lonely through life. Both of them are the product of dysfunctional upbringings.

Falling Free is a story about healing, learning how to trust again and love. It’s packed with exual tension you can cut with a knife. This book is a highly recommend.

Grace Parnell receives the shock of her life from the client she's dedicated her life to try and free from jail. She takes her troubles to a bar in a nearby city where she falls into a game of lies with Artemis Tanner. They share a fun and free night but as they walk on the beach, Grace realizes the young, sexy male can't be someone in her life. She walks away, only to find him at the nearby race track. Artemis Tanner is one of drifting pros, he's lead a nomadic life and is only in town to help organize a charity event. He spots Grace at a bar and instantly wants to cheer her up, as he starts to pursue her finding out about her past leads him to dig into his own dark past. I really enjoyed this book, it was fast read and a page turner. Tanner and Grace are a couple to root. Wainscott weaves intrigue, fun and romance together for a fast trip.

I can count on Tina Wainscott for a great story. Falling Free (A Falling Fast Novel) proves that statement yet again. Tanner and Grace's story has emotional depth and character development. From the first there are secrets reveals, then twists in the tightly structured plot that gave me pause as much as they did the characters. Tanner and Grace's story has emotional depth and character development involving two very different people who are drawn to each other.

Characters from previous books make an appearance but do not disrupt the feel of this being a read that stands on its own. Romantic, oh yeah but even more of a character study. Falling Free was this reader’s delight keeping me paging turning from beginning to end. That is saying a whole lot since lawyers are not my usual favorite characters. Highly recommend to readers who like their romance stories with substance.

Grace Parnell devoted her life to prove her father’s innocence and overturn his prison sentence. She became a lawyer just to fight for her father but the case ends with an unexpected turn. She is lost and adrift needing to find herself now after the heartbreak.

Then she meets Artemis Tanner, their instant connection is undeniable. But he never stays long in one place so she is fighting her attraction because why start something that has expiration date? Can Tanner get her to take the plunge and fall free?

I really liked this book. I enjoyed Tanner and Grace chemistry. There are sparks but Grace fights the pull and Tanner just wants to spend more time with her. Its a give and take that makes the story interesting. What will happen when Tanner decides to leave? Will Grace be left to pick up the pieces again after other heartbreak? You'll just have to read this book and find out. It's a good enjoyable book!

I have not read the first two books in this series, but to show you what a great standalone this was, I didn't feel like I had missed anything. I do want to go back and read the two earlier books, but not having read them didn't deter any part of this book. I really enjoyed this story of two loners, who didn't trust well, yet end up finding trust in each other. The story revolves around a small Florida town, and drifting racing which I had never heard of. I'm not a big racing fan, but that also didn't deter this story line. Enjoyed both characters, Tanner and Grace. Their reasons for their lack of trust in others and themselves felt real and believable. Nobody was too whiny and they both really had hearts of gold. Loved this story. Thanks as always to Netgalley and the Publisher for letting me read this ARC.

As a child, Grace decided to be a lawyer so she could free her father from prison. She believed him to be innocent. Finally after one more lost appeal, her father told her the truth. Needless to say she was devastated. So how do you drown your troubles; in alcohol of course. At the pub Grace goes to drown her sorrows, she meets Tanner. After spending a great night together just talking and walking on the beach, Grace runs away. Grace and Tanner were great characters. They were likeable and relatable. I liked that you get to see how the other characters from the other books are doing (Falling Fast, Falling Hard). Grace begins to relook at her life and decide if being a lawyer is really what she wants to be. Tanner begins to feel it may be time to settle down. Overall this was a good story and recommend. It is well written and is more on the lighter side of romance.
