Dawnie Hallo :)

Since you are reading this i am sure that you already know about the Reading Quest (since it is the last day to "sign up") But here is the link where you can read all about the genius that created this readathon as well as that it is all about: https://readatmidnight.com/2017/07/29...

I have no idea what i am going to read during this but since I have a basically a book in mind for ALL the challenges, lets just be really challenging and list them all and see how far i come, right?

Link to my blog post: https://booksbeautifylife.blogspot.de...

i decided that the BARD has the most books i have to get to as soon as possible so lets start there:

BARD TBR:
A book with a TV/Movie adaptation: The Gunslinger
A Fairytale retelling: A Court of Thorns and Roses
A book with striking typography: The Thousandth Floor
A book translated from another language: Medici - Die Macht des Geldes (translated from Italian to German)
A banned book: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

ROUGE TBR:
A banned Book: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
A Cover with a patricianly obscured face: City of Saints & Thieves
A Book with <500 ratings on goodreads: The Readymade Thief
A Book published by a small press: Comfort Food (maybe?)
(I am taking that that indie authors and self publishing counts for this?)
Book with a one word title: Authority

MAGE TBR:
A book with a one word title: Authority
A book that contents magic: A Darker Shade of Magic
A book based on mythology: Norse Mythology
A book set in a different world: The Final Empire
The first book in a series: To All the Boys I've Loved Before

KNIGHT TBR:
The first book in a series: To All the Boys I've Loved Before
A book with a verb in its title: Digging to America
A book with a weapon on the cover: Now I Rise
A book with a red cover: First Women: The Grace and Power of America's Modern First Ladies
A book with a TV / Movie adaptation: The Gunslinger

SIDE QUESTS:
Potions: A book conceited by 2+ authors: Broken Prince (it says in the book that "Erin Watt" is actually two authors)
Multiplayer: Buddy read a book: possible Words of Radiance, Part 1 that is not sure yet so, well see
Grind: A Book with 500+ pages A Little Life
Respawn: Read a book you previously DNF: My Life Next Door
Animal companion: Book referencing an animal in the title: The Goldfinch
Minigame: Read a graphic novel, novella or poem collection Every Heart a Doorway

Dawnie Alright i have finished two books -one of the main quests for the BARD and one Side quest.

I didn't actually want to start withMedici - Die Macht des Geldes and Medici - Die Kunst der Intrige but i just got the notice that i have to give them back to my library so i jumped ahead in the main quest book list and read the forth one instead of the first one.

Can't say i would recommend either of those books since i didn't enjoy them and think there are way better books out there about the time and place and about the Medici family.

But now that those are read i going back to the actual order of how i should/want to read them in and starting on The Gunslinger

(Hope that still counts?)

Dawnie 18/8 - finished The Gunslinger, which was not as mind blowing as i remembered it being from years ago but still a good read!

Dawnie 20/8 -finished another side quest - time wrap- with My Map Of You overall an okay book, not the best but certainly not the worst book and pretty good for a dramatic romance book.

Dawnie 22/8 - finished A Court of Thorns and Roses which made me hate Tamlin even more (did NOT think that would be possible!) but still loved the writing even if i still strongly dislike a lot of the actual story and plot of this first book.

Also the next update will be next week since i will be away for a week without any internet access.

Dawnie 31/8 - finished re-reading Every Heart a Doorway and HIGHLY recommend reading or re-reading this book after reading Down Among the Sticks and Bones! Knowing Jack and Jill better makes all the difference while reading Every heart a doorway and i really, really enjoyed that re-read!
