Just pre-ordered my book from B&N. It will be released on Sept 5th. I'm not sure if that means it will be shipped on the 5th or if I should receive it by then. Anybody know?

Ang from OZ | 1690 comments I pre-order the ebook from Kobo, I'll have to check the release date, as I can't recall what it was. But I should be good to go!

Fantastic that JT will be joining us!! :)

Tarheelgirl, not sure how book retailers work in the US, but over here it is normally shipped on the release date.

Hey guys great news right
just in case the book doesn't ship until the 5th (I'm assuming you're getting the paperback and not the digital), If you're getting a digital copy it should be in your library on the release day.
I've pushed the start date up to the 17th. The post already reflects it.
Does that sound good?

Ang from OZ | 1690 comments I checked my ebook preorder with Kobo, it releases on August 21st. So I'll be good to go.

I am considering cancelling the ebook and ordering the print paperback instead, I really like to mark the pages with coloured sticky notes when we do a bookclub read!!!! :)

I usually have to rely on digital arcs when I'm reviewing so I have learned to bookmark, bookmark, bookmark plus adding notes on my kindle and on the paper I'm using as a discussion guide
But I too prefer print books, its so much easier to go back and re-read a section etc..

Yes, mine is the paperback version. Thanks for changing the start date! That should give me plenty of time.

Lie to Me is out!!! I hope all your copies are winging their way to your doors, I know our friend from Oz already has her copy :)

Here are some early reviews

"[An] exceptional domestic thriller from bestseller Ellison... this standalone may be Ellison's best work to date."
—★ Publishers Weekly, starred review

"Wonderful ... a one-more-chapter, don't-eat-dinner, stay-up-late sensation."
—Lee Child, #1 New York Times bestselling author of NO MIDDLE NAME

"Fans of GONE GIRL will gobble up this thriller about a marriage from hell, which moves at a blazing-fast pace and smoothly negotiates more twists and turns than the backroads of Tennessee. J.T. Ellison will keep you guessing every step of the way to the surprise ending!"
—Lisa Scottoline, New York Times bestselling author of ONE PERFECT LIE

Week one discussion sept 17-23 Prologue up through A Video is Worth a Thousand Words through page 141

I'm behind in my reading, busy weekend and a unexpect house guest has me behind, will catch up tomorrow and be answering week two questions then!
