Been eyeing this one for a bit, plus I had three books I was really looking forward to reading this week, and NONE of them were on this list,..."
I hate when that happens :(

Carry the Ocean by Heidi Cullinan
10/24/17 4*'s
Oh how this book made me cry. This story was so incredibly heartbreaking to read through all the trials that Emmet and Jeremy. The struggles they go through as they try to become independent adults while each struggling with their disabilities and adding their budding relationship on to these struggles, just kept the tears flowing throughout this read. Emmet is autistic, and is an exceptional man. He can remember anything he reads or sees and is a genius at math, however, he is aware that he will never be what the world considers normal, but he is aware that no one is normal, that everyone has something that makes them different, his is just more obvious. Jeremy is newly discovering he is clinically depressed and has severe anxiety, to the point where it is preventing him to live his life. The two of them start dating and want more for themselves. They move into a home adults that need some assistance and the two begin to discover what they are truly capable of. This was a truly wonderful book, but I don't know if I really want to read on in the series. Sometimes, I am happy to end it there with the hea.

I want to say sorry for not finishing anything over the last rounds. I did finish a book last week, which could work for Reader's choice, but that's it.
I hope when next round comes along, I can read a lot more. I'm only slowly getting back to reading, but hopefully over November it will go back to normal.
Thanks for being great team mates.
