R15: Team #8 ~ Oxygen8
LOL. Of course I'm a series reader, but I'm past book #4 in all my fav series, so I'll have to go looking for something that I've probably only read the 1st book. And I don't have a shelf for that, and I've got over 9000 books on my shelves. Oh woe is me!!! LOL

Review: This book! Once again Colleen Hoover makes me mental. Holy crap I have no idea how she does this. It is actually crazy. She may even have to be my favourite author ever. Although her books aren't the type I'd normally read, everyone else murders the genre as far as I'm concerned. I just don't know how she does it. Incredible. She makes me feel everything the main character does, and I don't know how. I honestly don't. I love the way reading her books makes me feel. I just get so into it, and no other author can make me feel like this. It just makes me wish I could actually be in the story, no matter how much heartbreak happens in it. I wish I could have a relationship as passionate and perfect as this. I am in a relationship, but it's not like this. I want that specific sense or urgency, the passion that Colleen Hoover pours into the words she writes. I am jealous of her characters. That's all there is to it. Her writing makes me crazy. Every single book manages to make my eyes leak, and there are always different unexpected plot twists (view spoiler), and everything about her books is perfect. Apart from the fact she can't write them fast enough! Man I need mooooore.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Review
This is the climax of the story of Daniel and Luce. They have nine days to defeat Lucifer, this is the length of time it took for the Fall. During the nine days Luce discovers the truth of her's and Daniels history through a journey of self discovery. Helped by the other Fallen angels and the Outcasts Luce and Daniel find themselves full circle being asked to make a choice that can tip the scale. This is an enjoyable end to the love story of Daniel and Luce.
I got
from the library tonight so I might read that one for 2nd, 3rd or 4th shelf. If not I've found a few more to pick from ...
I have so many to choose from!I'm going to wait to pick until tomorrow though when we get our new SS calls. If I'm lucky we'll land on a number with a 2, 3, or 4 in it. :-D
Well, our SS team rolled to 96 (horrible series numbers :-D) but since 2 other teams rolled past 100, (Go Maddison!) we don't really need to read....Long story short, :-)
I will read
House of Night #2
Shelf: Kindle Freebie

Nocturne Falls is a supernatural paradise masquerading as a 365 day Halloween Town, for all the tourists. All the supes can be themselves without fear of discovery.
Our H is Hugh a 350 yr old vamp, whose grandmother, also a vamp, wants grandbabies. She signs him up for a supe/human matchmaking service and that introduces our h Delaney. Delaney is running for her life, from the mob back in Brooklyn. She is direct, loves chocolate, and is a crazy good baker who wants to open her own shop.
This is an absolute fluff piece, with many, many plot holes, especially about the mob scenes. It was like they were thrown in as a distraction, and weren't even finalised. (view spoiler) The werewolf Sheriff was supposed to follow up about the crooked cops back in Brooklyn, and he has goons in his lockup, but its never mentioned again.
Hugh also flip flops the entire story which wasn't good for me, even though its insta love for them both.
No idea if I'll read more in this series, it has a good premise and lots of different supes, so I might.
I'll let you know when I start my book for this week. It'll either be tomorrow (next read) or after my next read.
Will be finished my kindle freebie tomorrow. Unfortunately we haven't win SS :( but I need to finish that one in the morning.
I've decided to go with
for 2nd, 3rd or 4th Book in a Series, which comes out the day before next shelf call (my Wednesday). Helen Harper books are always a quick read for me, so probably only half a day :) How's everyone else doing?

Maddie is a kiddies shoe designer whose life gets turned upside down when whilst trying to track down her boyfriend becomes mixed up in a murder or two. Maddie finds herself in a number of amusing predicaments trying to prove his innocence, throw a hot cop in and a family who want to marry her off to a good Catholic boy, this is the perfect cosy mystery if you want your mystery with a side of sassy. This series is definitely one I'll be continuing.

Review: This book actually reminded me so much of the one I just finished, November 9. It feels like the filler between the years not talked about in November 9 XD I could almost just swap these characters out. Really good book this one :)
I like how this one was from Adam's perspective, and how it tied up a lot of loose ends. I like how vulnerable Adam ended up being, and how he ended up being impulsive and saying stuff he wish he hadn't said, even when he got the response he wanted. I loved the (view spoiler) I also like how he decided (view spoiler) And the lyrics in the songs are amazing. I love them. :)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Review:
Not something I would typically read but this was a surprisingly good read. Centred around the O'Malley family this involved the story of Cillian and Olivia and the Mafia rivalry between the families that rule Boston. Think of "The Godfather" meets "West Side Story". This series would benefit being read in order so as to get the back story of each of the MCs but can be read as a standalone.
Updated you both :)I'm @ 64% on
and really enjoying it. It's a shame that RL has been interfering today or I'd be finished.
I've actually been "reading" my book pretty quickly. ;-)I'm listening to the audio book. My husbands been working late this week so I've had time to listen while doing chores after work myself.
