FalseUtopianDreams | 4 comments Hey there!

So I heard about a book while going through booktube a while back. Unfortunately, I ended up forgetting the name of the book, it's author, and the YouTube channel I'd found it on. Would be grateful for any kind of help at all!

The book is basically set in a more or less dystopian society where speaking now costs money because of very strict copyright and trademark laws. The plot is centered around a girl who challenges the entire system by choosing not to speak.

I'm not quite sure, but I think the book was published in either 2016/2017. It is a fiction book, and (from what I can remember) was written by a male author. Not sure if this detail will help, but I remember one of its cover versions being yellow.

Thanks so much in advance!

EDIT: The book is All Rights Reserved by Gregory Scott Katsoulis. Thank you, Annamariah!

El | 502 comments Hmm, maybe check out this list which focuses on selective mutism. I hope you find the book - sounds interesting.

Do you remember if it was young adult or adult fiction?

I've already checked that list multiple times, but wasn't able to find it there, unfortunately. Thank you so much for the reply, though!
