Next is Caliban's War and The Dark Forest. Not sure which one I will read first.
I have been reading the Dune novels and haven't read any since March, so time to get going again. Mentats of Dune is next.
That should keep me busy for a month or so.

No idea what I want to hit instead. Maybe get back into Faller.

Finished
The Vegetarian
In Progress
The Glass Universe: How the Ladies of the Harvard Observatory Took the Measure of the Stars
Childhood's End
Up Next
Caliban's War
The Glass Castle
I finished Blood of Tyrants by Naomi Novik last night, and am happy to report that the plotting and action was much tighter than the previous few books in the Temeraire series. One book left in this series but I will hold off until next month since it's a series read in another group.
I had planned to start Caliban's War next, but I think I have time for another book before I dive back into The Expanse series. So I think I will continue yet another series I'm reading, The Banned and the Banished, with Wit'ch War by James Clemens.

This list of "50 most..." sci-fi books came in my GR newsletter (redesigned -- it looks like GR is doing a lot of redesigning these days) as I am sure it did for many of you.

Finished
The Vegetarian
"
That book! Messed me up for weeks after reading it. I couldn't get its mood out of my mind.

Cartamandua Legacy by Carol Berg - Excellent!
Scroll Of Saqqara by Pauline Gedge a mythic/historical fiction in ancient Egypt, but very fantasy like
Gifts by Ursula Le Guin getting ready to read the rest of the trilogy
The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan - quite enjoyed these YAs
The Wishing Spell by Chris Coffer - a bit too young for me

I have this on my shelf--I really liked the other things I've read by Berg.

I feel a bit off, myself. It's a very scary and very sad and very confusing story.

Just starting The Bear and the Nightingale.
Returned to Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series with #3 The Well of Lost Plots because I want to get to #4, in which Hamlet is a character (I'm a Shakespeare nerd).
And Summer House with Swimming Pool.

Just astonished that this book has managed to completely ruin the series for me.

Finished Wit'ch War and Caliban's War and then read a standalone by Paula Volsky called The White Tribunal. Next I am going back to the Saga of Recluce with Mage-Guard of Hamor.

These 3 books tended to be a little slow going, especially A Canticle For Leibowitz and The Dark Forest. Which means I didn't get going on Mentats of Dune yet, so that's a book for next month.
Since this isn't locked yet, I'll comment here. I finished Mage-Guard of Hamor (8/10 on my rating scale) and, although it is the 15th book in the Saga of Recluce, it was really the second book in a duology about Rahl, a natural order-mage from Recluce who ends up in Hamor. I also finished League of Dragons, the last book in the Temeraire series, another 8/10 on my rating scale. I enjoyed the series overall, although the middle books kind of wandered about somewhat aimlessly.
Next up is Homeland, my first book by R.A. Salvatore, which I am reading for another group here on Goodreads.

Here are the books I have read
The Gunslinger
Sort of disappointing. Was expecting something better
Without Fail
This was a pretty good Jack Reacher book
The Human Division
Enjoyed this one, unique way to write a book, a bunch of self contained short stories that togather make a pretty good book
Lord Foul's Bane
After the disappointment of The Gunslinger and wanting to read the last chronicles of Covanant decided on a Thomas Covenant reread. Not as good as I remember it as a teenager
Berlin Game
Interesting read but not what I was expecting.
Just started
The End of All Things

I, too, plan a reread of the Thomas Covenant books before reading the newest chronicles, and I am also a bit concerned about a letdown. The first six were published when I was in my twenties.

They are still good, everyone talks very grandiosely, and Covenant is a huge ass.
