      I just finished

A Separation yesterday and it wasn't really my cup of tea, although I think Katie Kitamura is a good writer. Just started

Good Morning, Midnight which I think I'm really going to enjoy.

Reading "my brilliant friend" by Elena Ferrante .... about 90 pages from the end, really enjoying it.. friendship and family saga

Read He is a Canadian for my Library Reading Challenge. Had to read either a book of poetry or a book of short stories. Opted for the poetry, especially as the author was my great-aunt.Also read some of
which fullfilled the challenge of reading a book from the Reconciliation list. We don't have to finish a book to include it (in this case I didn't get it finished before it had to go back to the libarary).

Some of the best reads over the past while arePachinko
The Unseen World
The Essex Serpent
Beartown
Doc
The Amateur Marriage
I gave The Amateur Marriage 5 stars and loved it.
I am currently listening to A Thread of Grace and I wish I had a list of characters that is apparently in the written novel. So many European names that I am not keeping straight.

Currently reading, "Surrender, NY by Caleb Carr . Not what I suspected but so far so good. I have also started "The Bone Clocks" by David Mitchell. This feels like a surreal dream that I'm having but not caring where I wind up. I like the female main character.

I have finished The Trouble with Goats and Sheep and The Dollhouse. They both received 2 lowly stars.Next up is The Beguiled. I have been lured by the Sofia Coppola hype and want to read this before I see the movie.

      Currently listening to

by Alan Bradley. Still thanking BOTNS for recommending Flavia to readers on the podcast. This is one series that I would recommend the audible edition. These stories never get tiring because of the narrator, Jane Entwistle.

Listening to The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter. A bit too violent for me so far. Reading Safe by Ryan Gattis. This I just started but I loved his prior book All Involved.

Me too! I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed it. -mpLinda wrote: "Elaine wrote: "Reading Born A Crime by Trevor Noah. Highly recommend!"
