Mariana I tried my best this year, maybe if you keep the challenge next year I won't make the team in order to finish my master and bachelor degrees (finally). This was amazing, it pushed me further and further to read more and I got to achievements I didn't believe possible.

Strange summer here in South America, with some rains and chilly weather. I'll keep waiting for your next challenge.

May all have a great 2018 and fulfill your wishes.

Thanks, all, for the compliments and praise. We will DEFINITELY be doing this challenge again, just not at the start of the year. TBD on timing.

WOW THIS WAS AN INSANELY TIGHT QUIDDITCH MATCH, NON-MUGGLES.

Tally is updateddddddddd.

Congrats to RAVENCLAW for pulling away with a very unexpected (heh who are we kidding) win.

As for the bottom three, well, what a rat race it was to the finish...
Ravenclaw: 1,359 points, 84 witches and wizards
Gryffindor: 839 points, 40 witches and wizards
Slytherin: 836 points, 39 witches and wizards
Hufflepuff: 834 points, 57 witches and wizards

Huzzah for Ravenclaw and all of the runners up as well!

message 2416: by Susan (new)

Susan | 442 comments I'm amazed by some of the individual totals! A really fun challenge. I wonder if it would be interesting for 2018 to also recognize team w/highest average per person. This year it would have been:
Slytherin 21.44
Gryffindor 20.98
Ravenclaw 16.18
Hufflepuff 14.63

Us Hufflepuffs would still have to get off our duff :) (though many of us were undoubtedly enmeshed in the season of giving, right? :D ) But just a thought! Happy 2018 everyone!

message 2417: by Martina (new)

Martina Bučková | 145 comments :) wow we are actually on the 2nd place. I somehow lost track on statistics, I still remember Gryffindor being 3rd for a long time, but very close, just by 3 points we got to 2nd place. This was fun, indeed.

Congrats Ravenclaw :)

message 2421: by Kerri (new)

Kerri | 711 comments I am amazed by how close it all was!! Well, at least for 2-4th places ;) This was the funnest challenge I have ever done, and it definitely encouraged me to read more than I otherwise would have on my own.

Good job everybody!! Congratulations to Ravenclaw, and good race to Gryffindor and Hufflepuff!!
