Librarians do not need to consult with authors regarding the numbering of series, nor do Goodreads series follow the same numbering practices as Amazon. Goodreads Librarians follow the policies and practices outlined on the Librarians Manual.
However, I have looked over Dangerous Victor carefully, and it does seem to be novel length.

Hi Rivka,
My librarian status was revoked after I edited this book in line with the manual. Amazon is one of the authorised places to find book data and I confirmed the order of the series and which books were novels or novellas from Amazon before editing. I ensured the novellas had decimal numbering and the novels had whole numbers. Considering you have reviewed these changes and deemed them correct, could you please reinstate my librarian status.
Thanks
Renee
I created a topic to get the new book added to my series, which happened wonderfully smoothly as always. Unfortunately, a different librarian came in and changed the third book in my series, Dangerous Victor, to book 2.5 without consulting me. This is a full length novel, not a novella. The reason it has a small page count is because it is a small file (nothing to do with the word count) - if it was a paperback, it would be a 240 page novel like the others in the series, since they are all exactly the same length/word count. I can't yet afford to get the paperback made, but I need this changed back.
This change messes up the numbering on my whole series. I'd really appreciate it if someone could change it back to how it should be, since the librarian who made the change isn't responding to my queries. Thanks so much!
