message 106: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 3595 comments I was doing so well getting caught up and I was just approved for A Plague of Giants! It's a little chunkier that I usually like to get through NetGalley (624 pages), but I'm really curious where Kevin Hearne will go with this new series. Plus, there's one off my pending shelf! :)

Oh well done Kristie! I was declined for that one - I think it was only for US reviewers

Nicole Field (nicolefield) | 1778 comments Oh that's good to know, Karen. Now you've stopped me from requesting it. I was on the fence about it, but that's solved my problem :D

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 5239 comments Oh no here I am requesting books again. Kind of hoping I don't get all of them because I have no time :p I haven't used Netgalley for ages because of my lack of time.

message 112: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Field (nicolefield) | 1778 comments Hhahaha, I have uselessly stopped reading almost all books that don't come from Netgalley in an attempt to catch up.

It doesn't fix my request issue at all.

OOOH OOH ANNABETH ALBERT"S NEW BOOK IS ON THERE!! *grabby hands*

message 113: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 5239 comments Haha yeah basically :p What happens if we miss reading a book by the archived date. How do we get them off our dashboard?

4th and last one for August means I started with 7 on my shelf and ended with 7!

Best Day Ever by Kaira Rouda
review

This one was in the "older than 3 months" shelf so I'm glad to have finished it. That shelf really annoys me. I read by publication date so I hate having by books split based on the day I download. Anyone else find that annoying?

message 122: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 5239 comments how do you find your ratio?

And do we count books we have on our shelf that have been archived?

message 123: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 3595 comments We count any book that is on your shelf that you haven't given feedback for yet. You find that under the "give feedback" tab. There will be two parts that you can click on "Current titles (#) | Older than 3 months (#)". We list the total # of books. Some people say how many are current and how many are older than 3 months, but you don't have to.

You find your percentage on your profile page. Click on your name / profile pic at the top of the page. It will bring you to your profile page. To the right of your profile pic it will say "feedback ratio". That is the percentage we use. It also tells you how many books you've been approved for and how many you've given feedback for, which is pretty cool to see.
