Awesome!! thank you!! Both of those books are sitting on my shelf and I've been so lazy about reading them so I definitely will now.

And that bonus book sounds awesome, I'm surprised I never heard of it before! Already put it on hold from the library :)

For your bonus pick: Watchers by Dean Koontz . Dean Koontz is hit and miss for me but I loved this one.

Joanne Debbie G, I haven't heard of any of your titles so I randomly picked:
Beach House Memories (The Beach House) by Mary Alice Monroe and The Skeleton Takes a Bow (Family Skeleton Mystery #2) by Leigh Perry

I haven't read any cozy mysteries so I searched the genre on Goodreads and found one with a nice-looking cover:
Death of a Dead Man (Juniper Grove #1) by Karin Kaufman

I AM SORRY!
Here are your picks Chelle: A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin (my current favorite show); The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life by Mark Manson (Best title ever)!
Bonus: The Man With a Load of Mischief (Richard Jury, #1) by Martha Grimes The Man in the Brown Suit by Agatha Christie (Agatha Christie isn't really a genre, but here you go!);

Hi Ezi, I'm choosing Retribution (The Protectors, #3) by Sloane Kennedy and Beast (Twisted Ever After, #1) by A. Zavarelli. For the bonus, I grabbed title from your TBR -

Hey Marty, I finished my two picks.
Retribution (The Protectors, #3) by Sloane Kennedy was a 3.5 star and Beast (Twisted Ever After, #1) by A. Zavarelli was between 1-2 stars. I can't get with the whole kidnapped victim falls in love with man who brutalizes her.

I hope to get to my Bonus pick soon.
Thanks!

Jenn (tellingmelies) | 540 comments Finished City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5) by Cassandra Clare . I feel like this series has really gone down hill in the last two installments. I gave this one a 2.5 rating.

I finished both An Unnatural Vice and Draakenwood. I rated both 5 stars.

Jenn (tellingmelies) | 540 comments Finished All Wound Up (Play by Play, #10) by Jaci Burton by Jaci Burton. Burton's books are always fun to read. Gave this one 3 stars. Gonna see if I can get to my bonus read as well :)

message 86: by Penumbra (new)

Penumbra | 487 comments I finished Physical Therapy (Cattle Valley, #5) by Carol Lynne . I liked the plot idea, but the author tends to rush her stories and all the Cattle Valley stories I've read so far, pretty much follow the same formula with no surprises. Predictable in other words. But they're good if you're not looking for anything angsty. I gave it 3 Stars

I finished all of my books (yay!) for this month. Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor and A Time to Rise by Tal Bauer were two of the best books I read this month - 5 stars for both!
The Warrior's Path (When Women Were Warriors, #1) by Catherine M. Wilson was not bad, just a little too slow for me - I was hoping there'd be a little more action. 3 stars.

message 88: by Delitealex (new)

Delitealex | 694 comments Finished late Future Shock (Future Shock, #1) by Elizabeth Briggs loved i 4 stars I don't usually like time travel but this time it was interesting and the story was fast paced with some action.
