I'm hoping to get a cozy finished to start The Summer Before the War by Helen Simonson tomorrow.

1). Geographical Setting: Read a book set in a different country than your own.

2). Travel: Read a book where the main character travels to another country

3). Cover Hunt: Read a book with a picture of a mode of transport on the cover. Steamship

4). Title: Read a book with a PLACE NAME in the title, such as the name of a country, state, city, town, etc.

I have two options:

1). Geographical Setting: Read a book set in a different country than your own.
2). Travel: Read a book where the main character travels to another country.
3). Cover Hunt: Read a book with a picture of a mode of transport on the cover.
4). Title: Read a book with a PLACE NAME in the title, such as the name of a country, state, city, town, etc. Titles with words like ‘woods’, ‘beach’, ‘mountain’, ‘river’, ‘garden’, ‘park’, etc, in the title would count as places too.

Yep, me too, Anne. I can't resist a challenge either. However, I've been losing feathers trying to read too many books for challenges lately. I didn't even sign up for the Juggling July one because I'm up to my beak already! I'm missing out on the FUN aspect of reading books in the first place. This Owl has finally wizened up and will be taking the "Easy" way out from now on, too! Took long enough! =o)

I'm looking forward to this one, it's my first venture into one of Nicole's. Hoping to pick it up from the library after work today, got an email saying it was ready for collection! :)

I know what you mean Owl! While I'm only new to these challenges - this will be my third - I know that I'll never be able to do anything other than the easy challenge, (except maybe for the seasonal challenges?) With my eye condition, and working full time, I can't seem to get too many books read a month. And I don't want it ever to not be fun, as you put it so aptly. :)

So right Owl :) it must be fun......we all have too much stress in other areas of our life.

I have books for 1 & 4 and am trying to find books for 2 & 3 and will get back to you
