Hello, the book I am looking for was read by me in 1999-2000. It's a young adult book about a young lady and takes about her adolescence while traveling around the country with her single mother Joyce. In the end, it turns out that "Joyce" abducted this girl when she was a baby, and she ended up going to prison. The girl was returned to her birth parents and younger sister in Virginia Beach. I don't remember the name of the book or the author.
