I'm doing quick rereads of three books today--Too Scot to Handle, Lady Be Bad, and The Innkeeper's Sister--to refresh details before I write reviews tomorrow. The authors, in corresponding order, are Grace Burrowes, Megan Frampton, and Linda Goodnight.

Thanks, Janga. I meant to post the thread this morning, but then I pulled on my scrubs and I was out the door. My MIL has been having some medical issues and having to deal with that has me spacing out on everything else.

This week I'm planning on reading Shelter the Sea by Heidi Cullinan and Depth of Field by Riley Hart.

Stacey (staceyissassy) I've got Too Scot to Handle and I hope to read it soon.

I'm reading a novella by Camilla Monk Apache Strike Force: A Spotless Novella. This author has the craziest sense of humour but I love her work.

After that, I'll be getting my tissues ready to start The Brightest Sunset.

No problem. I knew when the thread wasn't up that life was happening for you.

I've just realised I still haven't finished the first book in the Grace Burrowes series!

Irisheyes | 896 comments I'm still reading A Lady's Code of Misconduct. LOL

I went at least 5 whole days without reading anything! I think that has to be a record for me. Life, family and vacation got in the way. I usually can squeek out a little time for myself but not the case this week!

I finished I Knew You Were Trouble by Lauren Layne, the latest Oxford book. I liked but didn't love it. Same for Lauren Blakely's The Knocked up Plan which I finished tonight.

What other Lauren book can I read now? ;)

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments Buzz Books 2017: Romance: Exclusive Excerpts from Forthcoming Romance Titles by Tessa Dare, Alexandra Ivy, Eloisa James, Gena Showalter, Joanna Shupe, Meredith Wild and Many More had my attention this week... It's FREE and has approximately 28 excerpts of upcoming novels! Wow, it was so fun to read them all.

Leigh-Ayn, are you in the United States? I found it on the US kindle site.

That would have been good, Deb, but I jumped into Adriana Anders' Under Her Skin. It was a pretty fast read, but darker than I'm used to in contemporary. Which is weird because I read super dark mystery and romantic suspense. Anyway it was a good angsty, two damaged souls healing one another story.

Now I'm on the Rogue Desire anthology that came out today. The first novella (by Adriana Anders again) was great virgin hero computer hacker/pre-school teacher turned city council candidate story. I'm guessing the heat level varies from what I've heard about the stories so far. So I'm anticipating some of what All About Romance rates "burning" along with the hot but fairly vanilla of the first story.
