Thank you, Kari.

#16 termination - the ending
The definition for termination seems rather... lacking. Here's what I found on the internet - the action of bringing something to an end.

#1 unbearable - not capable of being endured; intolerable
#13 underestimate - to undervalue; to minimize
#23 undertaker - one whose business it is to take charge of funerals
I'm trying to remember if I know of any main characters who are undertakers. I can think of some books where they have been mentioned, but none as a main character.

#3 meat - the parts of an animal's body used as food
#7 meddle - to interfere
#11 medical - healing; therapeutic
I read The End Time a sci-fi book set in a world where people eat the meat of pinkies (which are humans without brains), and if you have enough money you can get a medical procedure that can tell you when, how and where you are going to die. The MCs meddle with the government after one of them gets the procedure, and a great chase ensues! I gave the book 3 stars.

I wanted to read

As I suspected I was able to place all three words - my starting point was the blurb:
Twice divorced NY model, Lalla Bains, now runs her dad’s Crop-Dusting business in Modesto, California where she’s hoping to dodge the inevitable fortieth birthday party. But when her trophy red ‘58 Cadillac is found tail-fins up in a nearby lake, the police ask why a widowed piano teacher, who couldn’t possibly see beyond the hood ornament, was found strapped in the driver’s seat. That sounded to me pretty much like body disposal (#17) - and that wasn't the only one and only kind :-)
Lalla's best friend is the town's sheriff and as I expected dispatch (#10) was important to the story as well and Lalla's father was dismayed (#1) to learn his son is gay and of course the entire town was dismayed after they learned the identity of the perp :-)

I hope my idea is working for you as well, Lanelle - I decided to go with #7 irrelevant a book that's unrealistic and really irrelevant for my life and most most of our lives ;-) but so fun I decided to re-read it (as well as the other two books in series I already own)

I you think this doen't work I'd go for something non-fiction for #3 in the first sense - to enlighten - that's usually the reason most of the non-fiction are written at all :-)
Isle/Island is something I'm usually struggling to find each time I need it for a challenge and I want to spare those few I have when I need them more urgently *grins*.

I love it so much. It's a very difficult topic and written like a biography - great style, very dramatic and emotional and has very much potential for people dealing with really hard times. In the beginning I was rather secptical - very often I didn't like books with so much hype about - and was glad I love this one. Next year I'll read the other one of his book my library has - there're not that many Y-authors :-)

#3 meat - the parts of an animal's body used as food
#7 meddle - to interfere
#11 medical - healing; therapeutic
I read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. In this story, a teenager with autism (perhaps aspberger's) finds a dog stabbed with a barbecue fork on his neighbor's lawn. He begins to meddle in the investigation because dogs are important to him, and someone shouldn't get away with murdering a dog. He goes to a special needs school where his teacher helps him learn some medical techniques for calming down if he gets anxious or scared. One night when he is at home eating his dinner, his dad gets mad and slams his fist on the table and his meat touches his veggies so he can't eat them anymore.
I really enjoyed this story and thought it gave great insight into the mind of an autistic person.
