This is a team reading challenge that will run from August 1st to August 31st inclusively. Points will count towards the overall MMC scores.
For this challenge we will be going back to basics, and that means counting how many pages we read ☺
To earn points in this challenge, all you need to do is read and review your books as normal, and tell us how many pages you have read! At the end of the challenge pages will be converted to points at 5 points for every 1000 pages read. Buddy reads will continue to earn extra points ☺ The team with the most points at the end wins!
Points:
• 5 points for every 1000 pages read.
• Buddy Read points will be added as follows-
200-399 pages = 1 point
400-599 pages = 2 points
600-799 pages = 3 points
800-999 pages = 4 points
1000-1199 pages = 5 points
(Bonus points for buddy reads will only be given if the buddy read has taken place in our group, and the book read is over 200 pages.)
Rules:
• Books must be read between the 1st of August to the 31st of August inclusive.
• Books can be any length, but must be over 200 pages to count for a buddy read point.
• re-reads are allowed as long as it is at least a year since you last read the book, and you write a new review/status updates with new details.

This challenge will be a team challenge. When signing up please let us know if you want to join a 'Serious' team (reading 12 books or more), a 'medium' team (reading 8-12 books) or a 'Just for fun' team (reading any number of books).
You may also sign up as a solo participant.
**Please only sign up for a team if you genuinely plan on taking part, as your team will lose out if you sign up and then do not participate**
