July BOTM: First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones

We have a winner! This first book of the The Charley Davidson Series, Books 4-6 by Darynda Jones. It is the first of 12 in the series! I had to look that number up and it actually looks like the 12th one will be released this Halloween and that there will be a lucky 13th book to finish out the series.
Now, for those of us that read this book when it was originally voted in a few months ago, we will be reading the second book, Second Grave on the Left. I've got my copy being transferred from the library across town and it should be at my library by Monday. Yay!

We did the Graveyard Book. But what month did we read First Hrave on the Right? Ive read all 11 that are out anyways. LOVE this series so mich! I hadnt heard the series was ending at 13. Im sad!!

I also don't remember this winning before. I looked at our group shelf and this pone appears, but only as "currently reading'.

You know, I didn't think about it but I bet the reason it's not showing up in the past on our book page is because technically I didn't newly add this book to the group page, I essentially just changed the status of it to currently reading so it wouldn't have it on there twice if that makes since. I could look back in the threads and tell y'all which month it was I bet

Alright everyone! I have an announcement to make!

I am a complete idiot! -_- So I was 100% certain that this group had voted in First Grave on the Right as a book of the month a while back. However, after doing a little backtracking on our polls and threads, I realized that I was totally wrong in that assumption. Apparently back in April of 2016, we had indeed had First Grave on the Right as a choice on the polls but it wasn't the winner! That month Welcome to Night Vale was our chosen winner and since I had already read that, I chose to read First Grave on the Right thanks to the rave reviews it was getting from everyone in the threads.
So, dear friends, I apologize for the error and will make sure that next time I will not assume what book we have read and do a little research.

Also, I picked up Second Grave on the Left at the library and will be reading it on vacation next week. Can't wait!
