This is a short list and no female authors at all. I've read 14, so just over half for me, but I'd like to read the rest one day.
This does seem like a very classical sort of list--thanks for sharing! I've read 7, have one more coming up, and would also like to read them all eventually.
I've read 7. Having said that, as others note, it's the same list one would have encountered in 1979 (in the U.S.) when I entered undergrad. It's too narrow, IMO, to take comfort in or use as a worthy metric.
I like the lists members of this group make for their challenges =) more than many Critically Acclaimed lists, anyway.

Oh yes, we have some amazing book lists for members' challenges.

I've read 6 in their entirety, another in part, and the rest are on my to-read shelf. I'm thinking that means I agree with his list, LOL.

4 from this list.
I've read 8 from this list, and hope to eventually read all of them. As others have commented, this is a very narrow list - nothing wrong with it, but I personally am looking to broaden my reading.

I have voted in all 26. “European” seems to be very broadly used with Genesis.
Anyway: I have read 6 of those. How about you?
