I have to have the light from the tv too for some reason. It boils down to me being weird. I absolutely DESPISE power outages. We had an 8 day outage in the summer one year that I was quite convinced I'd lose my mind before it was over! I'm not sure if the heat or the quiet IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY was worse!! Running a generator to try to save my freezer was the only thing that let me sleep! How sad is that? A loud stinky piece of equipment made enough noise so I could sleep! Lol!

I haven't read the newest installment yet, I started reading a Rosie Pressie book and got caught up. Only about 60 or 70 pages left and then I'll read it. But what's concerning me right now is that I just noticed the price of Undead Pool! The price for the digital book, at Barnes and amazon, is $15.99!! The mass market paperback is only $7.99!!! Oh that makes me so mad! A digital should never ever be more than a hard copy! Barnes is doing some 15% off sale at the moment to take it down to $13.59, but normal price is the $15.99. Makes me want to scream! And it's a Harper Collins book, so it's not like it's some small, off the wall publisher that just grabbed a price out of thin air to hope to get some money back from the way too high mass market paperback price!! ARGH!!! I will not be purchasing this on the release date as I'd planned because I refuse to pay double what the paperback costs for the stupid digital! If they drop the price to equal or less, then I'll be right there at midnight or as soon as I finish whatever I am reading at that time to buy it, but otherwise I guess I'll be a little behind on Rachel and Trent's next adventure. (And may I say, even though I totally didn't get her attraction to him from the very beginning even though she hated him so much, now that the whole summer camp crush and history has come out, it's making more sense. Plus I'm starting to hope the poor girl gets at least a HFN with him, a year or two at least, especially since my personal love, Kisten, is gone forever. Sigh. He was so awesomely submissively dominate. What a perfect man. I cried for a day and a half!!)

Curse it all to the Turn and back!! After reading the new addition to the story, I'm *almost* willing to pay that horrible price!! That's probably why she put the stupid freebie story out!! Argh! I can't think of any other appropriate Hollows profanities except ones that involve Tinkerbell and fairy gas, and they don't fit!!

While I think the ebook cost for TUP is higher than normal (and I'm not sure why that is the case), the mmp version won't be out for another year, at which time I'm sure the ebook price will drop accordingly. It's the HC price that counts right now and that is still higher than the ebook.

This seems like the end but I am hoping for another part ...I do hope one day Rachel will stop taking accountability for the sun coming up in the morning lol.

I did like Kisten and you know I am glad she offed him. I am not sure he would have allowed Rachel to grow the way she has and I am sure she would have been submersed in vamp politics. Or he would have broken her heart and then I would have had to hate him.

As for the e-book price - I hate that they line them up with the physical book. There should be ebook pricing just as there is HC pricing and PB pricing. Instead they want to gauge and people wonder why piracy is such an issue. I wish they would take a nod from the music industry.

I got Ivy too. I just double checked wattpad but alas, no update yet. Gah!! The book will be out next week so I really expected one last update this week. And I really thought it was out earlier in the day last week, but I guess that doesn't mean it will be this week. But I'm sure I'll be checking my phone every time it beeps saying I have email!!

I actually read an ARC of the new book last week and it was really good. I hated the last two books in the series and had actually planned to stop reading it. I'm really glad I read this because it was the best she's done in this in a long time, imo. I think people will really like it.

I know I know I feel the same way on one hand but on the other I dunno I just think Rachel would be a different character and I love who she is becoming.

@Lisa so David shows up in Every Which Way But Dead he is shifter and an insurance claims adjuster who can kill you with red tape.

Thanks. I was just introduced to him. I finished Every Which Way but Dead earlier today. I also read he's supposed to be more prominent in The Undead Pool. Should be interesting. I wasn't that impressed with him in EWWBD.
