I have Jan. It was a bit of a debate. Kleypas' was sweet and fun. I loved Iced, but pfft to the rest of the series. Mercy is one of my favorite heroines.

But I am going with Sawbones for Jan. I had some quibbles with but still plan to read the next. Im curious as to another's opinion.

Yay, Tessa. Ive bought a couple of during sales, those Harlequin ones that pop up, based on reviews. People really like her. So the push i need to actually read her.

Someone in our group mentioned buying a series or author based on recs & big sales then learning they dont care for them. Can totally relate....I do that.

Good choice Jan. I stole Grey's idea and combined a few from Leslie's 5 star challenge and my pick for me shelf. Arabella was the book I chose from your five star ratings. I have a ton of Georgette Heyer's books on my shelf from sales that I need to read.

I've only read one book on Amy's shelf and I decided not to pick it since it was YA. I remember all the freaking out about Life of Anna series. Plus the main character has my name. I don't think I'll ever read it so I will read it through Amy's updates. ;)

LoA was WHOA baby dark... and that's coming from *me*! I think book 2 and 3 are considerably darker than 1 though, if I'm remembering correctly.
