So excited! Finished book 2 late last night which ended so good. Vasily showed his true stupid self LoL going to start as soon as I get home :)

I finished rereading On the Island this afternoon too and will be starting Ruin An d Rising tonight too!! Oh this is going to be awesome Sara :D

Poor Mal :'( I'm so sad for them all. I hope they get some happiness by the end of this book or I'm going to be a very unhappy girl.

How far are you? I am about a third of the way. Trying to get my stupid house respectable and teach my kids better cleaning habits. Loving it so far.

I'm about 60% into it and loving it so far too :) although I'm sadden for poor Mal and for Baggra's - Darkling's mother - childhood :( and I'm also a bit frustrated with Alina. She's the Sun Summoner and has all this power right?! So why can't she kill him already! He just keeps killing and killing and getting away with it! Grrrr! That Darkling with all his evilness just makes me so mad.

Yet he is so charming with Alina. I haven't reached most of this stuff yet. Just past 40%. It's been a rough day.

I hear you honey. And yep agreed, the Darkling is very charming when it comes to trying to get his way when it comes to Alina :)

Okay Belkis I am at 79% and so it is getting down to the nitty gritty. And of course now is the time my youngest decides to throw a fit! I will say that Leigh Bardugo is very daring.

Yes Sara, completely agree with you there. She threw in some real shockers that had me gasping I tell you. For a while there I thought I was going to breakdown into a teary mess.

phew i can finally come back. I read the last 200 pages through splayed fingers. my thoughts (view spoiler)[I am so surprised she ended up with Mal but in my heart I knew it had to be that way. even after the darkling was murdering and torturing people she loved, readers still wanted her to end up with him . I love that it did a full circle and came back to two orphans living a simple life. Brave choice for Leigh Bardugo. Thank God Nikolai is back. I have to go back and reread the last 200 pages. I just couldnt bear Mal dying. It killed me (hide spoiler)]

I completely agree with you Lorelle. I was so happy with how it all wrapped up by the end. And applauded the author's choices too. And the last chapter was so beautiful. And I almost died over poor Mal & Nikolai.
