I noticed that a couple (ETA: four) of Waltari's books were set in "Iran, Islamic Republic of" when in fact they were set in Jerusalem and in Roman Empire. I corrected them and then took a look at other books set there. I found books like By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept and Faust. I have read neither but my guess is that they are not set in Iran...
I don't know how many others there are like that but librarians might want to keep their eyes open.
