Review: This one was the craziest of them all. Even though I've read them before, I didn't remember this one. I remember (view spoiler)[Sam's death, but not how it happened. (hide spoiler)] I couldn't imagine going (view spoiler)[to see my partner's body mutilated like that, and not being able to have revenge. I wouldn't be able to survive that. My heart wouldn't know what to do. (hide spoiler)] My eyes even welled up a bit when Celaena (view spoiler)[was talking about what she wouldn't have from Sam anymore now that he was dead :( (hide spoiler)] That was a rollercoaster that one.

Yeah I really think we should see Yrene somewhere in the ToG series otherwise this novella only showed girl solidarity or Celaena's pity and compassion.

Review: (view spoiler)[ I was hoping Lysandra had more of a part in this novella but I guess it was just meant to show her and Calaena relationship. Arobynn lying about the purpose of the transaction, and telling them they were saving the slaves when really they were selling them out was really annoying. Especially after Skulls Island. Then making Celaena kill the ones who were technically her allied just makes Arobynn more of a douchebag. The only good thing that came out of this was Celaena and Sam getting together after all that denial. (hide spoiler)]
