Review: First novella down, five to go! About time I did a re-read, with the release of acofas next month, and also the last ToG in October! Loving being back in this world! I'm so excited to get to Tower of Dawn at some point XD Only one I haven't read yet. This book launched me back into the world, about (view spoiler)[Sam and Celaena ruining the Pirate Lord's slave trades. (hide spoiler)] Such a good story, while also being contradictory: I mean, they're (view spoiler)[assassins, but they're helping free slaves. (hide spoiler)] It's awesome. Now to get through #2.

Finished (view spoiler)[Yay Celaena gave her money! And Yrene actually made use of it, getting the heck out of that gross tavern! No idea how she survived there for such a long time. Wonder if we'll see her later! Otherwise it's a slightly pointless novella, only showing us Celaena's compassion and thoughtfulness.

Review: This was a very short novella! I felt like I was constantly updating XD Seemed almost pointless, so there must be a deeper meaning to the story, maybe we (view spoiler)[see Yrene later on? (hide spoiler)] Or maybe it was just an insight into Celaena's humanness (is that a word? XD) I really like seeing Celaena's emotions shine through, and how (view spoiler)[she decided to still go through with the Red Desert trip, because she didn't want to end up like Yrene. (hide spoiler)] I am really pleased that (view spoiler)[Yrene actually took the money and picked up her dream's path. (hide spoiler)] Hope to see her again.

Oh wow the next novella is 110 pages. That's quite a long one I'll read tomorrow during my readathon. So pleased to be splitting these novellas up and counting them all as separate books XD So many cards can be completed, and so many books can be banked to dump later!

What Celaena said to her in the stables was so cruel, that no one cared about her or her land or vengeance. I am pleased that Celaena let her live, and I hope we meet her again in later books.

Review: This is my favourite of the novellas so far. I can't wait for (view spoiler)[Celaena to just admit her feelings for Sam, and understand that Sam feels the same, hence the need for restraint at their initial beating. (hide spoiler)] I loved reading how carefree she felt when (view spoiler)[they stole the mares, (hide spoiler)] and how (view spoiler)[Ilias really liked her. (hide spoiler)] I also liked the romance between (view spoiler)[Ansel and Mikhail, which turned out to be false :( She never did mention that she liked him, only that she liked how he gave her attention. (hide spoiler)] This novella was full of feels.

And the whole entire thing was a lie! Arobynn lied to them about the deal so they would cooperate. That is disgusting! The only good thing that came out of that one was her and Sam <3

Review: This one honestly boiled my blood. So much happened that made me incredibly angry! Arobynn (view spoiler)[using all of her gold to bid on Lysandra, when he didn't need to. (hide spoiler)] Just finally pleased that (view spoiler)[Celaena and Sam got together :D (hide spoiler)] Who knows what drama this final novella will bring as repercussions!
