IDK why but I have got a really bad feeling that Celaena and Sam are going to fail in their noble mission. I know it's really cynical of me, but I'm not able to shake off this feeling. But, I really want them to succeed. They are fighting for a noble cause.

And, I felt that Sam's questions about Arobynn's intentions were totally relevant. I always thought that there is more to Arobynn than meets the eye.

The novella surely didn't disappoint me. I love how Celaena goes out of her way to help people. And, I was really happy that I finally met Sam. A bit predictable, but nevertheless an enjoyable read. Can't wait to read novella #0.2!

Only my hate for another character in this book exceeds my hate for Arobynn. It's the King of Adarlan. (view spoiler)[His madness for conquering every land has severely blinded him. Why can't he see how this madness is making the people suffer?! No surprise that the Gods fled. (hide spoiler)]

This was a pretty short one. I liked it. Again, Celaena reminded me that assassins aren't always heartless. They can be kind and considerate!

(view spoiler)[This story was mostly a filler to give rise to Sam and Celaena's romance. It's sort of doomed, to be honest. Sam is sweet, moral, humble, kind, good in a way Celaena can never be. Just like Chaol. So I sort of get it why she chose Rowan, especially when she was no longer celaena but Aelin. She left her old self behind in Endovier. The one who had loved Sam. That doesn't mean I don't hate Aelin's choices in Queen of Shadows, I still do, but I do understand.

Also the bit about spidersilk and the witches made me remember Manon. Now Maas should write a novel solely about her. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Surprisingly, this was the most boring out of all of them. I knew what was going to happen, how the would be betrayed. Sam and Celaena, well, I'm sorry, had a horrible relationship. I do not agree (view spoiler)[that Wesley is a good guy. I think he was just added bait for Caelena sent by his master. I too had my heart break with Sam's death and to find out that it was Arobynn who set it up!

I understand why he killed Sam instead of Caelena though. He has some sick possessive feelings for her that won't allow him to kill her. It's hard to explain but I know why he couldn't/didn't want to kill her and I'm sincerely hoping it bites him hard on the ass!!!!(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]
