Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz So far really good! I've never read anything by him before, but this is like a 'whodunit' inside a 'whodunit'! Really clever!
Gemina by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman
This is the 4th book in this series and I am having a wonderful time following Cade and his companions in their grand adventure!
This is a cyborg shifter book, lots of action, blood, death, and romance, pirates, revenge and secrets. Just my cup of tea!
Just started this book and first time reading anything from this author. I must admit it has been in my to read pile for a very long time. Mixed reviews but that is the way with most books, you can't please everyone and I like to make up my own mind. I do love a good historical mystery and so far so good.
One of my favorite authors, love all her books no matter which name she is writing under!
Fantasy, magic and evil gods - a grand adventure!
So I just finished Cress from the Lunar Chronicles. Loving this series and I can't wait to read Winter!
"Elephant Secret"--a Middle-grade novel by Eric Walters. I'm enjoying it.
I'm a little late to the party and starting Where the Crawdads Sing today. I hope it's as good as all the hype says it is. I could use a really stand out great read. I've been reading some good books, but nothing I consider great! I have high hopes for this book though. After all can so many reviewers be wrong about a book?
Currently reading (almost done) A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara.

I'm not that far into the 4th book, so I can't really say how it's going. Yet. I do have to agree with you, Ipshita, the 3rd one was pretty drawn out, and I felt that there were too many characters to keep track of. I am enjoying the series however the magical world and the character developments that Maas has created I think are pretty impressive. Plus I'm a big fan of fantasies any way.

Im reading Magpie by Sophie Draper
I recently read Sophie Kinsella's latest publication: I Owe You One
and was pleasantly surprised. I say this because I was a big fan of Sophie Kinsella at one time. The first five or six books of her Shopaholic series and her standalones:
—Twenties Girl
—The Undomestic Goddess
—Can You Keep a Secret?
. . . are among my favourite romantic comedies. (Saving I've Got Your Number for later to read as a special treat. My friend assures me it's as good as the books I mentioned above :-)
But then her writing just seemed to have lost its spark. The later books of her Shopaholic series didn't appeal much, and her standalone: Wedding Night actually felt like it was written by someone else! I simply stopped reading her books altogether.
I'm glad I picked up I Owe You One, though. It wasn't a five-star read, but I could see some of her original spark in the book. Looks like I'm going to get my favourite romcom author back after all :-)
