I have found this type of game really fun and not that hard to do either. You can take as much time as you want unless you want to see who finishes first. But I really enjoy the journey through the books.

Toss The Dice Board Game

There is no time limit and no limit on how many plays you do. The game is meant to be a long running game that challenges you to read new and out of your comfort zone while still allowing you read your usual genre in between. If you were to roll 6’s every turn you could go through board in 20 moves as long as you didn’t land on any lose a turns or go backs. There are only a few repeat tasks throughout the game. The tasks where put through a randomizer and can be in any order for any type of task (title, covers, genres, format, etc.).

How to play:
• Roll a (1) dice at a time. Dice Roller
• You can do all your rolls at the beginning or as you play.
• Do each task listed on the space you landed on.
• When you complete each task add up the points you earn.
• If you land on a space that you just cannot or refuse to do, you can reroll the die and go back that many spaces and do that task instead (you do not receive any points for that task completed).
• All Free Turns (and there is a lot of them) are read a book of your choice, but you do not receive any points for Free Turns.
• If you land on a Lose a Turn, go back the number spaces listed, once the task is completed you do get the points for that space.
• Read the books in order of your rolls, but you can read books in between your spaces you have landed on. (Example: Turn 1 Rolled a 2 Space 2 I read a B&W cover book, Turn 2 Rolled a 3 Space 5 I read a book published during January my birth month, but I want/need to read a couple of books that have a publishing month of June first. I read those 2 books and then go back to read my second turn book). Hint: I generally with these games plan on reading x amount of books a month. (I usually figure around 2 or 3 a month but there are some months that doesn’t work out. Some I don’t read any and some it turns out to be abundantly filled with the tasks from the game).
• As always make this a game/challenge for you how you want to play it. I just list guidelines as recommendations.
• There is a list to help document you plays below that you can copy and paste.

I feel that they do. In art when we say black and white it could mean just black and white but it could also mean shades of gray. Because you make the value (meaning how light or dark black or white is) of gray by mixing in either white or black. So gray is nothing more that black or white. :D

BTW, great you are in the mood for some challenges :D

This just means to pick a popular genre like romance or humor. It basically lets you pick a genre that you want to read that is popular. :D
